Presented by 2013 Forever Young & Healthy Living Expo As part of Run Fest Weekend Friday, October 25, 1pm – 8pm and Saturday, October 26, 10am – 6pm EVENT DETAILS New this year, the Niagara Falls International Marathon and Niagara This Week are partnering to create one of the largest Expo’s to hit the Niagara Region. This year’s Expo will be held on Friday October 25 and Saturday, October 26, 2013. The location will be at the Skylon Tower, the host of the world class 2012 Red Bull Crashed Ice Event. This Expo promises to be an exciting kick-off to the NFIM Runfest Weekend and provides an excellent opportunity for you to promote your products and services. Expo hours are 1:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday and 10:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday. STATISTICS & VISITOR ANALYSIS 6,500 registered participants. Expected some 20,000 people will stream through the Skylon Tower over this 2-day event. 60% Female / 40% Male demographic. Average age 25 – 54 years old. World-wide participation with over 30 countries represented. 69% Canada, 27% USA, 4% International. PROMOTION Showcase your products and services to 20,000 runners, walkers, family, friends and the general public over this 2-day event. This insert will be an eight page colour editorial on the History of the NFIM that will be distributed to 180,000 homes in the Niagara Region. ADVERTISE IN NIAGARA LIFE MAGAZINE TOURIST EDITION $250 Exclusive to all vendors that participate in this year’s Expo. Purchase a ¼ page ad in the Marathon Insert of Niagara Life Magazine Tourist Edition. The deadline for booking is May 2, 2013 with a May 23, 2013 distribution date. This insert will be an eight page colour editorial on the History of the NFIM that will be distributed to 100,000 homes in the Toronto Marketplace. FINISH LINE BOOTH $1,000 Become part of the all new Victory Lane Finish Line on race day consisting of vendors that will welcome thousands of runners, along with family, friends, spectators and volunteers. This is an excellent opportunity to reach a larger demographic and bring more exposure to your company over race weekend. As a vendor you will have a prime location in front of your target consumers.
2013 Terms and Conditions The Exhibitor must accept the following terms and conditions in order to participate at the 2013 NFIM Expo. Booth Rental Booth reservations will be confirmed once the completed reservation form and full payment is received. NFIM reserves the right to refuse any reservation judged inappropriate to the Expo’s context. The reservation fee will then be returned. Payments/Cancellations/Refunds No booth is guaranteed until 100% of the payment is made. Participation is subject to booth availability. Payment is non-refundable. No reimbursement will be made in the event of a cancellation. Booth Assignment/Set-Up & Tear-Down You will be assigned your specific set-up time and booth number approximately 2 weeks prior to the Expo. NFIM reserves the right to change the location of a confirmed booth, if it is deemed necessary for the good of the show. Displays Displays and installations must stay within the booth rental space and must not interfere in any way with other exhibitors. Booth Presence Exhibitors must ensure the presence of at least one person in the booth during exhibition hours. Insurance Exhibitors must have their own insurance appropriately covering the equipment, material and merchandise needed for the event, as well as the staff overseeing their booth. EXHIBITORS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED WITHOUT PROOF OF SAID INSURANCE (Certificate of Insurance from insurance agent). Selling Goods and Services Selling goods and services is permitted. Selling Food and Beverages Exhibitors may not sell food or refreshments in their booth. However, samples may be given out with approval from NFIM. Electricity Exhibitors must inform the Expo Coordinator of their need for electricity no later than September 30, 2013. Parking Exhibitors have access to parking in the parking lot adjacent to the Skylon Tower. Security The exhibit hall will be secured with professional security during non- show hours. However, neither Management nor the Expo Facility is responsible for lost or stolen articles. Exhibitors are responsible for any damage done to the facility or rental equipment. Booth equipment may not be taken off the exhibition floor during show hours without the permission of NFIM.
