European Team Championships 2018 – Division 1&2 On behalf of the European Squash Federation (ESF) and Polish Squash Federation we are very pleased to invite your players to participate in the European Team Championships 2018 Divison 1 & 2. The hotel form must be submitted by 27 February 2018 , Closing the squad date for entries order is 31 by 2 April January 2018, 2018 and the travel form by 28 March 2018. Payment of entry fee and package deposit This must be paid to ESF in Euros using the bank details below. Please instruct your bank that you are paying all bank charges. • Entry fee (paid to EFS) – men's team 299€ • Entry fee (Paid to EFS) – women's team 246€ • Event package per person (paid to Host) – 299€

This can be obtained at www.worldsquash.org/spin Coaches All team or individual player coaches designated by their nation as part of their event onsite management team (solely, or in attendance with an appointed team manager) at any Championship held under the auspices of ESF must be WSF Registeres i.e. have a WSF Squash Personal Identification Number (SPIN), as their licence to attend in a formal representative role. This is required at the time of them being registered to attend by their national federation. Withdrawals In the event of a withdrawal from the Championships, after the closing date, penalty fees additional to the entry fee will apply in accordance with Regulations Section A. Event Packages Please, refer to section Y in the Regulations for detailed explanation. Payment of entry fee plus the event package cost per person is a mandatory payment within 10 days of the entry deadline. If you wish to have the optional hotel/food package, please make the relevant additional payment (see below). Optional hotel/food package 1. Hotel Package for 5 nights (bed&breakfast, twin room accommodation, transportation to and from designated arrival/departure points, access to shuttle bus service, food at the venue (2 meals each tournament day) – 400€ per person • Single room supplement (bed&breakfast) – 20€ per person per night • Extra night (bed&breakfast, twin room) – 35€ per person per night • Extra night (bed&breakfast, single room) – 55€ per person per night 2. The host decided about final version of accommodation. Transport: The organisers will provide transport between designated arrival/departure points for everyone who paid Hotel package. The designated arrival/departure points are: 1. Airport 2. Main railway station On all playing days there will be a regular bus transfer service between the official hotels and the venue. Time schedule will be published before the tournament starts. Anybody who pays only Event Package will need to organise their own transport. Eligibility: Player eliglibility for the Championships is shown in Regulations – Section B2 Seeding and draws: The seeding and draw will be carried out by the Seeding Panel under the direction of the Technical Delegate and in accordance with Section S6 of the Championships Regulations. Member nations have no right of appeal against seeding or draws.
Practice Courts Practice facilities will be provided at no cost by the organiser and will be available at the venue starting the day before the Championships. (Regulations – section F6). Refereeing: Qualified referees will be provided in accordance with ESF Referee Committee procedures relating to the specific Championships and Regulations - Section F9. Scoring: PAR 11 scoring (to 2 clear points) will be used. Balls: DUNLOP PRO XX ball will be used. Championships Office: The Championships Office will be located at the venue: Hasta La Vista Club ul. Goralska 5 Wrocław and will be open from 09:00 until one hour after last match. Dope testing: The ESF and the hosts reserve the right to implement compulsory dope testing for any player participating in the Championships. Dope testing may be carried out in line with the doping regulations published by the WSF. Member nations are responsible for informing all their participants (including managers, coaches and physiotherapists) about the latest WSF policy on doping; and must impose the standard WSF suspension from all forms of competitive squash upon a player who has used banned substances or practices. Insurance and risks: Players enter and play in the Championships at their own risk. Neither the ESF, the Host Association, the Host Club nor the Organisers will accept any responsibility for injury or other damages arising from participation in the Championships. ESF recommends that all officials and participants have full travel, medical and possessions insurance when travelling to any Championships. Eye protection All players (under the 19 years of age) must wear protective eyewear (manufactured to an approved national safety standard) properly over the eyes at al times during practice and
on doping; and must impose the standard WSF suspension from all forms of competitive squash upon a player who has used banned substances or practices. The list of WSF Certified Eyewear allowable at the time of participation can be viewed on the WSF website. Clothing and advertising: The ESF clothing and advertising regulations will be adhered to. In all matters of judgement or opinion arising from the interpretation of this clothing regulation, the decision of the Championships Referee shall be final (Regulations – Section P). Visa procedures: Please note that visas may be required to enter Poland. It is the responsibility of the member nation to ensure all players and officials have the appropriate documentation and that visas are applied for in good time before the Championships.
