The grounds you will embark on are heritage listed - it’s a great honour to be there. We urge all of you to please treat the grounds with respect. Throughout your stay, please look out for yourself, your friends, staff, and the wider LTEC community. Everybody has the right to enjoy their time at LTEC equally. LTEC operates on Kulin Nation Country. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land this event takes place upon, the Wurundjeri People, and we pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. ENTERING LTEC –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– You must bring your festival ticket (either printed or on your digital device) and a valid form of ID (Australian drivers licence, Vic learners permit, passport, Vic proof of age card, keypass card). Gates open at 12 PM. For those who have bought/ sold tickets, individual names are not required to match your ticket. Limited tickets available at the gate. *Please note, there will be a lot of traffic populating our entry and exit points during the beginning and end of the festival. It’s extremely important that you and your group conduct yourself in a safe and orderly manner in this space. Please be patient, and respect your fellow patrons. PROHIBITED ITEMS & BEHAVIOUR ––––––––––––––– - Illicit substances - Professional recording equipment - Liquids upon entry - Weapons or dangerous objects - Glass - No violence or aggression - No climbing the trees or walking through garden beds, you will be ejected from the event - Anyone found in unauthorised areas will be ejected from the event EDTN #9 NEW YEARS DAY 2022 WERRIBEE MANSION — LTECNYD.COM 6
ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY –––––––––––––– The Werribee Mansion is a heritage-listed site with a lot of rich history, and it is an absolute privilege for us to be able to celebrate the New Year in this beautiful venue. In that spirit, please respect the environment and do not litter. Please respect any barriers that you might encounter, especially the ones to be found around any trees or gardens. They are there for a reason and you will be approached by security for disobeying those boundaries. Anyone found to be disobeying rules or damaging the grounds will be ejected from the event. There will be bins placed around the site, but in the off-chance you can’t find one please hold on to anything you need to dispose of until you find one. LOOK OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER –––––––––––––––– Everyone deserves to have a safe and enjoyable experience at Let Them Eat Cake. It is up to everyone on an individual level to respect this right, and to look after yourself and other patrons to ensure everybody has a great time. We take discrimination of any sort extremely seriously, and we urge everyone to be aware of how you, and your group of friends are conducting yourselves. Please be mindful of what you say and how your actions may affect a fellow patrons day. Have fun, but be alert to anything you feel is untoward for our community. SAFETY & SECURITY –––––––––––––––––––––––––– Throughout the festival site, you will find highly visible security, DanceWize staff and Victorian Police officers who will be more than happy to look into and assist you with anything you might find concerning. They are there to help you - please utilise them if necessary. If you see anyone conducting themself in an unsafe or inappropriate manner, we urge you to reach out to these team members for assistance. Anti-social behaviour of any kind will NOT be tolerated and will result in ejection from the event. HELPLINE ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– 0448 405 949 (SAVE IT IN YOUR PHONE) If you experience any unwanted attention or interaction of any kind at LTEC, we urge you to text our helpline immediately for assistance. This is including but not limited to unwanted touching/language, or physical or verbal discrimination towards another patron in relation to their gender, sexuality, race, religion, ability or appearance. This helpline will be monitored throughout the duration of LTEC. Our team are equipped to handle these instances calmly and discreetly, to ensure that you feel safe at LTEC and prevent any unwanted behaviour. CHECK THE WEATHER ––––––––––––––––––––––––––
LTEC will go ahead rain hail or shine! Please pack appropriately, and bring extra
layers if needed - it gets cold after dark, and we do have a cloakroom if you
require it.
In saying this, LTEC does take place in peak summertime, and this edition is
looking to be a hot one! So don’t forget to wear sunscreen, drink lots of water, and
sit down and take a break if you feel like you need it.
- Free water stations will be placed around the festival site, empty bottles are
permitted (no glass)
- Sunscreen will be available at the Info Tent, First Aid and DanceWize
- Utilise our shaded areas to have a break from dancing if needed
- Eat food!
- Alert event staff or the medical team if you see anybody struggling

LTECNYD.COM 9COVID-19 SAFTEY ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Patron, staff, and artist safety is of paramount importance to us at all times. LTEC 2022 will be operating safely and legally within the current COVID-19 restrictions implemented by the Victorian Government. All attendees will be required to check into LTEC with a QR code upon entry. We urge anyone experiencing any cold/flu symptoms prior to LTEC to NOT attend. If you begin to feel unwell at the event, please speak to the First Aid team on hand - they are there to help, and are trained to handle these situations delicately. Sanitisation stations will be located around the event for all patrons to utilise. While masks are not mandatory, wearing one is a personal decision, and some patrons may choose to wear one in instances where social distancing isn’t possible. TRANSPORT ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– There are multiple ways to get to and from LTEC, with options to cater to every group size and budget. You can catch the train, one of the LTEC buses, rideshare with friends, or drive. Driving ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Werribee Mansion is located 35 kilometres west of Melbourne's city centre, on the Princes Freeway. It is a 30-minute drive from the city over the Westgate Bridge or via Geelong Road. Take the Werribee South exit to K Road (Take the 2nd Werribee exit - follow sign to Werribee Mansion). Traffic marshals will direct you to car parking from the Werribee South freeway exit on the day. On-Site Parking ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– If you choose to drive to the festival and wish to park your car onsite - you MUST purchase a car pass. Cars with three or more passengers park for free, no pass needed. Car passes are available for purchase here. Large-Vehicle Passes –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– If you decide to organise a private bus or party bus to the festival and wish to have on-site parking - you must purchase a Large Vehicle Pass. Your bus will be directed to the Private Bus Park and upon entry, make sure to present your ticket or give it to your bus driver. Large vehicle passes are available to purchase here. TRANSPORT CONT. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Train ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– The closest train station to LTEC is Werribee Station, which has a direct line from Flinders Street Station. At Werribee Station, you will be met by a shuttle bus to take you to the event. Do not attempt the walk from the station to the festival. Shuttle bus tickets can be purchased here and at Werribee Station. Shuttle Bus (Return from Werribee Station) ––––––––––––––––––––––––– Shuttle buses from Werribee Station to the event will operate from 12pm to 4pm, and are scheduled to meet every train. Return shuttle buses from the event to Werribee station will run from 8pm till the final train. A more limited transfer bus schedule will run to cover all trains in between these times. Rest assured, you will not have to wait long for a shuttle bus to or from the event! Please note: It is not possible to walk from Werribee Station to Werribee Mansion. Werribee train timetable shuttle buses will be departing between Werribee Station and the festival site on a regular basis until the end of the festival. First in first served. We recommend you pre-book your ticket before the day to ensure a speedy departure. Please take note of where the pick-up and drop-off points are to avoid confusion when departing the festival. TRANSPORT CONT. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Charter Bus (Return from Southern Cross Station) ––––––––––––––––––––– ALL CHARTER BUS TICKETS SOLD OUT, NO SALES ON THE DAY Charter buses will be departing from Southern Cross Station return to LTEC throughout the day. There will be multiple buses departing from Southern Cross Station from bus bays 56, 57 and 58 at 11AM, 12PM, and 1PM direct to LTEC. Buses departing from LTEC to Southern Cross Station will depart at 10:30PM and 10:45 PM, upon the festivals closure. All charter bus tickets need to be purchased prior to arrival at Southern Cross Station - you will not be able to purchase them on the day of departure. We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to your departure time to avoid missing your bus. The bus WILL NOT wait for you. Please note that your name does not need to match Charter Bus tickets. All Charter Bus ticket holders will receive an email with detailed instructions on your journey. Alcohol is NOT PERMITTED on any of the buses that are organised by LTEC. Alcohol will be disposed of if found on board. Rideshare ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– If you choose to rideshare to the festival, please make sure to familiarise yourself with the pick-up and drop-off zones. FIRST AID & DANCEWIZE –––––––––––––––––––––––– There will be first aid and Dancewize tents on-site. Please do not hesitate to alert any medical or security staff regarding any issues you or a fellow patron might be experiencing. They are there to assist you judgement-free and are discreet and confidential. LOST PROPERTY –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Seek assistance at the Info Tent, or if you’ve already left the event, get in touch with us at hello@ltecnyd.com with a detailed description of the item. ACCESSIBILITY ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Anyone with specific requests or queries about the accessibility of the venue are urged to get in contact with us directly at hello@ltecnyd.com. FOOD & DRINK –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– There is a range of food and beverages available from our food vendors and bars. All vendors accept EFTPOS and cash. ADDITIONAL INFO –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– - Free drinking water available (see site map on pg. 5) - You can bring empty bottles (no glass) - All bags will be searched upon entry - You can bring snacks - There will be no pass-outs issued - Keep an eye out for your friends, and pick a meeting point in case you get lost - You may be photographed or filmed at the event for broadcasting purposes - The event will go ahead rain, hail or shine - There is a cloakroom - There will be ATM facilities on site - Food and drinks can be purchased with EFT and cash - The hotel is only accessible for staff and guests - This event is strictly 18+ We'll see you at LTEC NYD 2022!
