EVENT INFORMATION RALLYE DOSSIER 2021 KTM AUSTRALIA ADVENTURE RALLYE QLD RANGES » Kicking things off for 2021, the KTM Australia Adventure Rallye: QLD RANGES will start and finish at the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Kenilworth, while exploring the South East QLD and Wide Bay Burnett regions of Queensland. From Kenilworth the Rallye will head north through the classic hinterland rainforest that the region is renowned for, before hitting the coastal towns of Rainbow Beach and Agnes Waters. The route will then leave the coastal regions for cattle country and the iconic ranges - travelling south down the Great Dividing Range to overnights in Cania Gorge, Gayndah and Bunya Mountains before returning to Kenilworth. With the help of local experts who are all Rallye riders themselves, in their words - “It’s time to show what Queensland has to offer!” Riders will see big open cattle country which is expected from the second largest state in Australia, however it is the unexpected soaring cliffs and stunning views through the ranges, the hidden rivers and flowing valley tracks, and the quintessential seaside overnight stops mixed with classic country small towns that will surprise and truly highlight Queensland’s diversity. Another highlight for the 2021 KTM Australia Adventure Rallye: QLD RANGES will be the introduction of Tent City for riders on several of the nights. Creating a true adventure vibe, Tent City will transform the Bivouac even more into a “Dakar” atmosphere! With a few more creature comforts than the real Dakar Bivouac, the “glamping” tents come complete with awning, carpet, 12V light, stretcher beds with linen and pillow and even a roll-up window! The aim for the KTM Australia Adventure Rallye is to offer options for riders to choose their own adventure and difficulty of ride, therefore we offer two route options daily for riders: Main Route and Breakout Route. The Main Route will feature gravel roads and more open flowing tracks, while the Breakout Routes offer advanced riders more challenging terrain in the form of sand, rocks, tight and technical forest tracks and interesting hill climbs! This opportunity offers adventure riders the chance to explore beautiful Queensland from the back of a KTM adventure bike - a truly unique experience. Therefore to assist riders from across the country wishing to attend, transport options will be provided in the Registered Rider Dossiers to all riders who register for the event.
