Dear F-106 Troop,
Greetings from your F-106 All Troops Reunions Committee! This is a special edition to
give those attending: helpful information, map links, contact numbers, etc. We've had
several last-minute cancellations, but have been offset with new signups:) It would be great
if some of you who cancelled out prematurely would consider signing up again. We still
have room on the Kennedy Space Center Tour, Golf, Polynesian Dinner Show and both
banquet nights

Melbourne Reunion Information and Registration/Signup:
Note: if you show up and haven't registered yet and it's after the Wednesday
afternoon Registration, please locate Dave Stiteler or Bobski to register. We ask that
anyone just showing up at door please respect our registration fee of $20 per
person. Each registered veteran will receive the 2020 reunion patch. Also, if you plan to

eat off our buffet on Wednesday or the final banquet please pay for your meals and let us
know ASAP if you plan to eat. We need to put in our headcounts 3 days prior to the event.

Hospitality Room Information:
1. Hospitality Rooms are the "Gondolier" and "Canaletto Rooms”, next to the Main
"Wakefield" Ballroom. Open daily 9:00 AM to 11 PM. There will be ice in the
rooms (free):)
2. There will be a DVD player, laptop and projector in these rooms, they are
connected as one room.
3. Four crockpots May be used in the rooms (no more because it will blow the
fuse!) You may cook your entire crockpot recipe in the room:)
Snacks encouraged:)
4. BYOB liquor, cannot leave the room with any alcoholic drinks. We will have
some "starter liquors" in the room. Donations are always welcome, either bring in
BYOB or drop in a couple bucks so we can re-stock!
Our Hospitality Room Guard is Pat Perry.
Dick Stultz is in charge of "War Story" speakers. We may have a
"surprise guest" Thursday evening:)

Meeting times:
Wednesday
Registration: 2- 5 PM
Cocktail Hour: 5 - 6 PM
Meet & Greet: Dinner 6 PM (note Color Guard will present Colors at 6:05 PM,
Opening DVD....
Meet & Greet Program: immediately following dinner

Thursday:
Kennedy Space Center: Board Buses by 8:00AM. Buses will load in front of
main Wakefield ball room, under side covered entry.
Hospitality Room: 9:00 AM to 11 PM.

Friday:
Drag Racing Museum, Car Pool leave by 7:30 AM
Casino: Board Buses by 8:45 AM. Buses will load in front of main Wakefield

Ball room, under side covered entry.
                         Polynesian Dinner & Show: Cocktail Hour 5:30 - 6:30 PM,
                         Dinner 6:30 PM, Show following.
                         Hospitality Room: 9:00 AM to 11 PM.

                         Saturday:
                     Golf: Car pool leave 8:30 AM (Bobski has 3 complete golf
                     sets for anyone to use, 1 lady & 2 men)
                     Shuttle rides to downtown Historic Melbourne. Bus is $25
                     total each trip, to be shared by riders.
Final Banquet: Cocktail Hour, Cash Bar, 5:00 - 6:00 PM, Buffet dinner 6:00
PM, Color Guard 6:05 PM, Music by “Blue Yonder Brass” during dinner.
Hospitality Room: 9:00 AM to 11 PM.

Here's the menus for the week:
Wednesday Meet & Greet: Taco Time Out: Build Your own Flour Tortillas,
Corn Taco Shells, Ground beef and Shredded Chicken, Sour Cream,
Guacamole, Pico De Gallo, Cut Tomato's, Shredded Cheese, Shredded
Lettuce and Spanish Rice. Also, Fresh Guacamole & Tomato Salsa with Corn
Tortilla Chips.
Friday Luau Buffet: Mixed Greens with Raspberry

Vinaigrette and Poppyseed Dressing, Coconut Shrimp, Teriyaki Chicken
Skewers, Hawaiian Pork Loin with Crushed Pineapple, Rice and Black
beans, Julienned Vegetable Stir Fry, Hawaiian Rolls & Butter, Chocolate Pie
and Pineapple Upside Down Cake Alternating.

Saturday Final Banquet: Build Your Own Buffet: Mixed Green Salad & Warm
Rolls & butter with Ranch and Balsamic Dressing, Braised Short Ribs with

Oven Roasted tomato, Spinach, Shiitake and Roasted Tomato Demi Glaze,
Seared Salmon with Beet Horseradish Vinaigrette, Chicken Marsala, Garlic
Mashed Potatoes, Rice Pilaf, Green Beans with Caramelized Onion, Apple Pie
and Carrot Cake Alternating.

Breakfast Buffet: Discounted Rate for us is $10 per person. 6;30am-10
Monday- Friday and 6:30-11 on Sunday. Suggestion: You can use this as your
brunch or lunch meal:)
Types of food delivery service is available from local places: Grub hub,
UberEATS and door dash as well as Pizza Hut, and Dominoes.

Important announcement regarding the Melbourne Hilton Hotel from Natalie Gentry,
our hotel manager contact:
"Group rooms are always on a 3-day notice. So, if you need to cancel your hotel
reservation you must cancel before 72 hours. If someone is sick with Covid, in a
hospital, has passed, or has a loved one who is any of the following then it will be
waived."

We still need volunteers during the week in these areas:
Photographers to take random photos during events.
Raffles (50/50, chinese raffle), organize raffles, all banquets (4-6 volunteers),
this is an easy fun task!

 Finally, it’s time for us to gather once again as a brotherhood/sisterhood
            that shared in the legacy of the “Ultimate Interceptor!”
