2022 Cookie Program Reward Experiences Early Bird What: Mall Madness - An epic overnight lock-in at the mall where select Event stores stay open late, just for Girl Scouts, and the movie theater 600+ hosts late night showings of a movie for attendees who register Package early and select a movie time. Girls who select this reward Level experience will receive a survey in March to confirm their membership renewal information and who they would like to attend with them as their chaperone. When: June 25th - 26th Where: Golden Triangle Mall, Denton, Texas Experience Category & Who: Local day experience for the Girl Scout and her chaperone. Reward Includes: Registration to this event for the Girl Scout and a chaperone. Note: chaperone must also renew their membership during Early Bird in order to attend. Also includes Cookie Club fun patch. Cookie Club What: Formerly known as Swim Club, Cookie Club events are hosted at Events four different locations across our council. Girls select a single 600+ location to attend and families and supporters can purchase Package discounted tickets to join in on the fun! Discounted ticket details Level and event information is sent to the girls who qualify, approximately two weeks prior to the event. When & Where: Hawaiian Falls Garland - June 4th Splash Kingdom Canton - June 4th Hawaiian Falls The Colony - June 11th Splash Kingdom Greenville - June 11th Experience Category & Who: Local day experience for the Girl Scout and her chaperone. Reward Includes: A Cookie Club fun patch, admission, a meal and a sweet treat for the Girl Scout and her chaperone. Page 1
Resident What: A traditional Girl Scout sleep away camp, where girls get to experience Camp the outdoors at one of our four camp properties. Girls who select Various Resident Camp as one of their cookie rewards, who are not already Reward registered to attend camp, will be contacted in early March with Levels available sessions so that they can make a selection. When & Where: Resident camp is hosted by Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas in June and July of 2022. We have four camp properties with different activities and experiences including Camp Bette Perot in Palestine, Camp Rocky Point in Denison, Camp Gambill in Sumner and The STEM Center in Dallas. Check out all of the resident camp opportunities and more details at gsnetx.org/camp. Experience Category & Who: GSNETX chaperoned overnight experience for the Girl Scout only. Reward Includes: One 5 night GSNETX Resident Camp session and a Cookie Camper fun patch. Great Wolf What: This Super Seller experience is hosted by Great Wolf Lodge and the Lodge GSNETX Product Sales team complete with exclusive Water Park After 1,200+ Dark hours, just for Girl Scouts, a program activity of her choice. Girl Package Scouts who select this reward experience will be emailed in early March Level to capture the details for the hotel booking and her program activity selection. When: Check in - Saturday, May 14th. Check out - Sunday, May 15th. Where: Great Wolf Lodge, Grapevine, Texas Experience Category & Who: Local overnight experience for the Girl Scout and her chaperone. Reward Includes: Hotel accomodations for the Girl Scout and her chaperone as well as a program activity selection including one of the following: ropes course + $10 arcade card, magiquest wand + game, or $25 arcade game card. The capacity of all rooms at Great Wolf Lodge sleep a minimum of 4 people. Girl Scouts are able to invite additional guests to join them up to their assigned room capacity. Tourist For What: Get ready to be a tourist of Dallas for a day. This experience includes a A Day full day packed with sightseeing and destinations like Reunion Tower, 1,600+ The Dallas World Aquarium, lunch and stops for sweet treats along the Package way. We'll wrap up the day at with dinner somewhere fun before girls Level head home. When: Saturday, April 23, 2022 Where: Departing at 9 a.m. from our JoAnn Fogg Service Center in Dallas and returning in the evening after dinner. Experience Category & Who: GSNETX chaperoned local experience for the Girl Scout only. Reward Includes: Transportation departing from our JoAnn Fogg Service Center in Dallas for all reward experience stops on our itinerary, ticket entrance fees, lunch, dinner, fun patches, and more for the Girl Scout. Great Wolf What: For Girl Scouts who select Great Wolf Lodge at the 1200+ level only. Lodge Girls who sell 2022+ packages and also select Great Wolf Lodge at the 2022+ 2022+ level can join in on the fun for an additional night. This reward Package experience is not an alternative date for our 1200+ level Great Wolf Level Lodge experience and may only be selected by Girl Scouts who are also joining us on May 14th at Great Wolf Lodge as a 1200+ reward experience selection. When: Check in - Friday, May 13th. Where: Great Wolf Lodge, Grapevine, Texas Experience Category & Who: Local overnight experience for the Girl Scout and her chaperone. Texas Road What: Rising Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors who select this reward Trip experience can pack their bags and get ready to embark on a road trip 2,800+ adventure taking them to multiple cities during our 4 days of travel Package together. This older girl only experience is ideal for Girl Scouts who are Level comfortable being away from home without a parent or caregiver. Girl Scouts will be sent an email in March to capture information to help plan our itinerary. This experience is less structured and intended for girls to work together and make decisions as we go about what they would like to do next, how to use their time, budget and more. Girls will meet virtually in April to get to know who they are traveling with and parents and caregivers will also get to meet the GSNETX Staff chaperones and hear more about our plans. When: Departing, Thursday, June 2nd and returning Sunday, June 5th, 2022 Where: Departing at 9 a.m. from our JoAnn Fogg Service Center in Dallas and traveling through multiple Texas cities including Waco, Austin, Houston and Galveston. Experience Category & Who: GSNETX chaperoned local experience for the Girl Scout only. Reward Includes: Transportation departing from our JoAnn Fogg Service Center in Dallas to all reward experience stops on our itinerary, hotel accomodations, ticket entrance fees, all meals, snacks, fun patches, and more for the Girl Scout. Savannah, What: Girl Scouts who select this reward experience can pack their bags and Georgia get ready for a quick flight to Savannah, Georgia - the birthplace of 4,000+ Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouts. This adventure is Package packed full of sightseeing, and unique Girl Scout experiences as well as Level an excursion to Tybee Island. This girl only experience is ideal for Girl Scouts who are comfortable being away from home without a parent or caregiver. Girl Scouts will be sent an email in March to capture information to help plan our itinerary and book flights for the trip. Girls will meet virtually in April to get to know who they are traveling with and parents and caregivers will also get to meet the GSNETX Staff chaperones and hear more about our plans. When: Saturday, July 23rd and returning Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 Where: Departing from Dallas, Texas to Savannah, Georgia Experience Category & Who: GSNETX chaperoned local experience for the Girl Scout only. Reward Includes: Airline transportation, all reward experience stops on our itinerary, hotel accomodations, ticket entrance fees, all meals, snacks, fun patches, and more for the Girl Scout. Program What: New Pilot Program for the 2022 Cookie Program! Credits & At the 1200+, 2022+, 2800+ and 4000+ reward levels, instead of Travel selecting Resident Camp, an existing reward experience, or an item, Options girls can select Program Credits of $500 to be used towards additional Girl Scout travel related experiences including: Girl Scouts of the USA Destinations. Qualifying Girl Scout EF Tours with travel planned with a Girl Scout New troop or group in 2022 or 2023. Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Travel Club Cohort Trips. Pilot Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas EF Tours departing Summer of 2024. Program! Reward Experiences Frequently Asked Questions Cookie Club Events Question: What happens if we cannot attend on one of the dates and locations listed? Answer: Because Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas pays for tickets and meal vouchers based on reward selections, the Girl Scout and her chaperone must plan to attend one of the dates and locations listed if she selects this reward experience. Alternative rewards and dates will not be offered. Question: Can the Girl Scouts supporters who purchase discounted group tickets through this reward experience option enter the park at the same time as the Girl Scout if early park hours are offered at the location. Answer: Yes! Resident Camp Question: If we registered and paid the deposit for Resident Camp to hold her spot, when can we expect a refund if she selects Resident Camp as her reward experience. Answer: Typically in late March Question: Does the reward include bus transportation? Answer: No. Families who wish to add on and pay for bus transportation to/from camp should contact our Customer Care team at 214.349.2403. Question: How does my Girl Scout register for camp as a reward if she has not already done so? Answer: After the 2022 Cookie Program wraps up, GSNETX will audit to ensure that girls who selected this reward are registered. Anyone not registered for a camp session will be contacted with options on available session that are available. Great Wolf Lodge Question: What happens if my Girl Scout selects this reward experience and later cannot attend? Answer: Depending on the cancellation window, which will be included in additional communication from GSNETX, the Girl Scout may be able to select a different Super Seller item. If a family cancels or is not able to attend after the cancellation window has passed, Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas cannot offer an alternative reward item as we have paid for the room that is no longer refundable. Reward Experiences Frequently Asked Questions Great Wolf Lodge Question: What if we want a different room type than what is assigned to us? Answer: Girl Scouts who are attending this event as part of our Super Seller group cannot make room changes or request upgrades beyond reasonable accomodations for wheelchair accessible rooms. Any requests made to the hotel to change or upgrade rooms will not be honored within our room block. Question: What if we want to add a night and pay to arrive early/extend our stay? Answer: Families are welcome to book a room with the hotel directly so that they can extend the fun of Super Seller weekend, however the hotel cannot guarantee that you will not have to move rooms. Often times, guests will have to check out of their rooms and check back in with Girl Scouts to a different room block. Tourist for a Day, Texas Road Trip & Savannah, Georgia Question: How does spending money work on these experiences? Answer: Because the experiences are all inclusive, extra spending money is generally not required. Girls will have some limited opportunities for gift shop purchases and are responsible for their own purchases and transactions. Question: Can parents / caregivers pay to join these experiences? Answer: No. Similar to Resident Camp and Girl Scouts of the USA Destinations travel, these are girl only experiences chaperoned by GSNETX staff. All chaperones are female, members of GSNETX Staff, and background checked. Page 7
