SOCIAL DISTANCING AT 2021 ETAPE CALEDONIA Here at Etape Caledonia, we recognise that things are a little different this year and that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you may have more questions about taking part than usual. Although legal requirements for social distancing and many other COVID mitigation measures have now ended, we are keen to retain as many of these elements as possible to ensure every participant feels comfortable and we minimise the risk of transmission as much as we possibly can. There is a lot that we are doing to ensure we deliver a safe event for you to enjoy and you can find details of all these measures below. EVENT DAY INFO YOUR RIDER PACK Your rider pack contains all the essential items for your ride. Please take the time to go through it all carefully. If you are a Premium rider, your event pack will be posted to you in advance of the event. EVENT DAY INFO Your wave time has been allocated and will be displayed on your rider pack envelope and letter (General Riders). The estimated start times for the waves are: Wave Estimated Start Time Numbers Wave A 07:00 Starting from 500 – 809 Wave B 07:06 Starting from 810 – 1999 Wave C 07:16 Starting from 2000 – 3499 Wave D 07:30 Starting from 3500 – 4949 Wave E 07:44 Starting from 5000 – 6049 Please note: Premium riders are numbers 1-499 and have been allocated into waves according to the estimated finishing time entered in registration. Please head to your start pen at least 30 minutes before your wave start time. Your start pen will be clearly signed and there will be marshals on hand to help with directions. PLEASE NOTE: Participants will not be able to access the 40 mile route from Wave A-D until the lead 40 mile Wave riders arrive at the route split. If you decide to shorten your ride you will be held at the route split.
