Entry fees • Individual: 7 000 HUF/person (20€)
• Pair: 3 500 HUF/person (15€)
• Team: 3 000 HUF/person (10€)
• Competitors entering
for individual, pair and team: 12 000 HUF/person (40€)
We would like to draw the attention of competitors, that during the 2 days
before the day of competition (so in February 11-12, Friday-Saturday)
the 2nd Yellow-Sea Poomsae Seminar will be held in Budapest.
The Seminar will be conducted by Grand Master Ky-tu Dang.
Competitors, who are taking part in the Seminar will get 50 % discount
from the entry fees of the competition.

Competition Rules
Competitors under 18 years old can participate in the event with a written consent signed by a parent/legal
guardian (see attached Declaration). Sports doctor and parent declaration must be presented at the time of
registration, these documents cannot be presented later. Further stipulations valid for Hungarian competitors,
that they must present their valid member’s book/card and all the fees in relation with the membership of the
Hungarian Taekwondo Federation (yearly membership fee) must have been paid by them. Apart from that they
must have a valid sport insurance as well.Individual

• As shown above, this year, we will also arrange the “C” category, for all ages, thus encouraging lower-belt
competitors to try themselves at the form competition.
• In category „A” competitors must know all the possible poomsae of their category. Poomsae, which must
be presented, is drawn
• If the competitor doesn’t know the poomsae drawn, then any other poomsae can be presented from the
possible poomsae, but the final score can be 0 only!
• The drawing is taken place in the week of the competition. Poomsae drawn will be published by
the organizer on the internet page of the event (Facebook site: www.facebook.com/sargatenger ).
• In categories „B” and „C” there is no drawing, competitors can make their choice from the poomsae given
for the category concerned.
• A Female and a Male contestant can create a pair only and only contestants of the same sex
can create a team (F/F/F or M/M/M).
• The pair or team are ranked in age groups and categories based on the oldest competitor and the hig-
hest belt classification.
• One competitor can participate in one pair and in one team only!
• Which age group a contestant belongs to is determined by his/her date of birth.
Competition
• Competition is arranged in „cut-off” system. 1-1 poomsae in preliminaries and the semifinal, 2
poomsae in the final must be performed.
• A poomsae must be presented within the time frame of 30-90 seconds. The time space between the 2
poomsae in the final is 30-60 seconds.
• Scores achieved in the preliminary, semifinal and final are not cumulated, after each round a
new scoring is started.
• In category „B” and „C” poomsae chosen by a competitor can be performed again in the next round too.
• In category „C”, if a competitor knows only one poomsae, then he/she can repeat it within the final. This isnot allowed in category „B”, even if it would happen, the score for the second poomsae can be 0 only.
• Preliminary: in case of 20 or more competitors, 50 % of them (in case of uneven number of competitors
rounded upwards) goes through to the semifinal, based on the score achieved.
• Semi-final: in case of 9-19 competitors, the contest is started with the semifinal, where the 8 highest sco-
red contestants go through to the final.
• Final: in case of 8 or less contestants only the final is arranged.
• The referee chairman of the competition with the consent of the organizer can change the order of the
categories „B” and „C” at the beginning of the competition. In such case coaches must be informed on these
changes.
Result ceremony of the given age-category is held immediately after the final is finished.
Prize:
• Medal and certificate for I-III. places.
• A cup for I.-III. places in the aggregated team score of the competition (scoring method is: 7 points for 1st
place, 3 points for 2nd place and 1 point for 3rd place)
ATTENTION!
If in any of the age-categories only one contestant enters for, he/she must perform the poomsae
valid for the category concerned. His/her result is considered in the aggregated team score!
Protest
Only an official coach is allowed to protest. An amount of HUF 10 000 (35 €) will have to be paid for each
protest. Protest is possible only in case, if the referee or the court reporter most probably made a mistake.
The decision of the referee chairman is final.

The team/club leader can make the registration on behalf of his/her students at the registration with the
presentation of the membership cards, sports doctor permission, insurance, payment of entry fees and parent
permission. We expressively ask all participants to arrive in due time in order to finish the registration till 8:45 a.m.
ATTENTION! For entry, you should register on the TPSS website (if you weren’t alre-
ady), and then ask for approval for the competition. After that, the entry interface
becomes accessible.

is a sport, where injuries cannot be excluded. I have read the competition conditions in which are
according to rules and regulation of the Hungarian Taekwondo Association / ETU / WT. I have read
the outline of the championships and all of the items of this outlines are known for me. I recognize
explicitly all the points of the outline. In particular, I recognize unconditionally the liability of the orga-
nizer, neither the organizer or the promoter of the event can be held responsibility for any damages
or injuries.
