Mountain View High School Senior 2020 Checkout Mountain View Senior, It’s about time to celebrate all of your accomplishments, but first, we must collect back all school resources and distribute your long awaited cap & gowns! ALL seniors should plan to attend the Drive Up iPad/Book return and Cap & Gown Distribution this week. Seniors are invited to drive through the Mountain View bus loop on May 13 or 14 from 1pm-5pm to: ● Return iPad, brick & cord ● Return textbooks or other library resources ● Receive cap & gown package We will have a drive up system in place to minimize personal contact – this is intended for the health and safety of both students and our staff volunteers distributing materials. This is your final senior task! Just follow these 3 easy steps: 1. Prepare your iPad, brick and cord for return – instructions here* 2. Check home and car for textbooks, novels, or any other school materials that need to be returned 3. Drive through the MV bus loop between 1pm-5pm on May 13th or 14th to trade resources for cap & gown: a. Pull up to iPad return station (even if you are not returning an iPad) – please stay in vehicle b. Staff volunteer will bring a cart to your window and retrieve your resources c. Continue vehicle forward to cap & gown station to receive your package *If you are taking a final or AP test that will require the iPad, please do not follow Step 1 above. Keep your iPad to complete your work and contact Mrs. Layne at donna.layne@bend.k12.or.us to arrange the return of your iPad once your finals/AP testing are complete. Other Important Senior Info: ● If you cannot make either of the event days, please contact Heidi Hackenbruck at heidi.hackenbruck@bend.k12.or.us for further instructions. ● Senior Post Graduation Plans Survey - The College & Career Center and Counseling office want to know where you are headed after high school! We ask ALL seniors to complete the Senior Post Grad Plans survey here. ● All outstanding senior fees/fines need to be paid as soon as possible. You can view your account through the district TouchBase payment system here (follow login instructions to access) ● Detailed information about the televised MVHS Virtual Commencement Ceremony and the Diploma Walk event will be provided in a flyer with your cap & gown ● Stay connected with the most up to date graduation information by visiting the Senior Info page of the MVHS website! ● Please continue to use your smartphone or other device at home to check your school email for important senior updates.
MVHS Senior iPad and Book Return Collect your iPad, brick and cord as well as any library/textbooks you have checked out. Please note that fines will be assessed for any resources that are not returned. Seniors with outstanding fines may not be given the opportunity to participate in the Diploma Walk event to be held in June. Students can review/pay all fees/fines online here: https://touchbase.bend.k12.or.us Contact Mrs. Layne at donna.layne@bend.k12.or.us if you have questions about library fines. The day before taking it to drop off please do the following: 1. Fully charge iPad; 2. Sign out of iCloud/Apple id if necessary and delete the passcode if you set one up; 3. Remove any stickers from the case that are covering up the barcode; 4. Update iPad in Settings>General>Software Update (this could take 20 minutes); 5. Wipe all data from iPad - In Settings>General>Reset Settings>Erase All Content and Settings; 6. If you have it, use a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe and a soft cloth, or a Clorox Disinfecting Wipe, to gently wipe the hard surfaces of your iPad; 7. Place a piece of paper with your PERSONAL e-mail address inside the cover in case we need to contact you. Congratulations! You are now ready to hand in your MV materials for the last time!

De tener una multa/adeudos pendientes, puede que no se le dé la oportunidad al alumno de último año de preparatoria (Senior) de pasar por su diploma durante el evento de “Diploma Walk” que se realizará el mes de Junio . Si tienes preguntas sobre las multas/adeudos de la biblioteca comunicate con la Sra. Layne a donna.layne@bend.k12.or.us Favor de hacer lo siguiente un dia antes de ir a entregar tus artículos: 1. Carga completamente el iPad; 2. De ser necesario, cierra sesión en iCloud /Apple id y elimina el código de acceso si configuraste uno; 3. Retira las etiquetas de la caja que está cubriendo el código de barras; 4. Actualiza el iPad en Configuración > General >Actualización de software (esto puede tomar 20 minutos); 5. Borrar todos los datos del iPad - En Configuración > General > Reiniciar ajustes > Borrar todo el contenido y la configuración. 6. Si tienes una toallita que contenga 70% de alcohol isopropílico y un trapo suave o una toallita desinfectante marca Clorox, úsala para limpiar cuidadosamente las superficies duras de tu iPad; 7. Coloca un trozo de papel con tu dirección de correo electrónico PERSONAL dentro de la cubierta en caso de que necesitemos comunicarnos contigo ¡Felicidades!
