Lange Laufnacht 2021 Information for Attendees

Dear athletes and coaches,
We look forward to greeting you in Karlsruhe on the 15th of May for our “Lange Laufnacht”.
After evaluating the list of registrations, we have now finalized the entries for this meet.
Unfortunately, we were not able to accept all applicants and were obligated to proceed with a
limited number of athletes. To mitigate any potential discrepancies, please acknowledge the
following conditions.
Arrival/Departure
The maximum number of persons allowed in the facilities at any one point is strictly enforced
and may not be exceeded. Therefore, we ask all athletes and coaches to arrive no earlier than
two hours before the designated start time of their event. We also ask all athletes and coaches
to promptly leave the facilities after cooling down.
General Hygiene rules
The “Lange Laufnacht” can only take place in accordance with the hygienic regulations that
has been approved by the appropriate regulatory office. Attached are several of the rules that
apply to all attendees.
- Practice social distancing of at least 1.5 meters: Please avoid congregating in larger
groups and make sure to social distance in the stands (please keep at least two open seats
between yourself and others) as well as on the warm-up fields.
- Wear a medical face mask (for example: FFP2-masks): Please wear your face mask at all
times while in our facilities. Participating athletes who are warming up or on the infield of
the stadium are permitted to remove their masks.
- Proof of a negative Covid-19 test: Admittance into the facilities is only permitted with
official proof of a negative Covid-19 test result (Rapid or PCR test) taken no earlier than
24 hours (Rapid) or 48 hours (PCR test) beforehand. Upon arrival, a limited quantity of
persons will be able to take a rapid test and these will entail additional costs. To avoid
long lines, please have your test results ready and in hand when you pick up your starting
number.
- Contact tracing information: At the entrance to the facility, there will be QR codes.
Please scan these with your mobile device and enter your contact information. These will
be stored temporarily in case contact tracing is necessary and will automatically be
deleted after 28 days. When you leave the stadium, please scan yourself out again via QR
codes.

After receiving approval to participate, the fee of 15.00 € per athlete, per event, must be paid
before the day of the event (12.05.2021). It is not possible to pay at the event; all payments
must be carried out beforehand. Delayed entries will not be accepted. The final starting lists
and heats will be made available a few days before the event on the LADV website.

Stadium Areas and Admittance
Admittance Areas
Entrance into the stadium is possible through the parking lot in front of the stadium, with
athletes and coaches admitted separately. Here you are required to provide evidence of a
negative Covid-19 test result as well as personal contact details via QR code. You will be
provided with the starting papers and admittance wristband.
All registered coaches will receive a yellow wristband with which access to the stadium is
possible within all time blocks.
There are three separate time blocks in which athletes will be admitted into the stadium,
which follow the given schedule.
13:30 – 14:45 Admittance with red wristband starting time 15:00 – 16:10
15:00 – 16:15 Admittance with blue wristband starting time 16:30 – 17:45
16:30 – 18:15 Admittance with green wristband starting time 18:15 – 19:40
At the end of each time block there will be an announcement notifying athletes to leave.
Please pay attention to these and follow the announced instructions.
Indoor area
Accessing the indoor area is only for athletes that are competing or preparing to compete
shortly. Please be at your designated starting area 10 minutes before the planned starting
time.
Warmup
Athletes warming up outside of the stadium must follow the applicable Covid-19 rules (max.
2 people together).
Starting Documents:
The starting documents will be distributed to the athletes individually and personally. Picking
up documents for a group or for others is not possible. Your starting number, confirmation of
participation in the meet, and the colored wristband will be included.
Coaches
Due to the limitation on the number of persons in the stadium, we are only able to allow
admittance of national coaches, state coaches, and coaches of U18 athletes (max. 1 coach per
team) into the stadium.
Coaches must sign up before May 11, 2021 at 20:00 via e-mail to lgr-karlsruhe@web.de
(please include the U18 athletes you are coaching). Admittance into the stadium will not be
allowed without signing up beforehand.
Changing Rooms, Showers, and Restrooms
Changing rooms and showers must remain closed. Restrooms can be found on the tribune in
the direction of the entrance.
Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony for the main races will take place at the end of the races in accordance
with the hygienic regulations (see timetable).

Liability
- We will not be held liable for penalties or consequences as a result of incorrect entry or
departure (from foreign countries).
- We will not be held liable for violations of Covid-19 regulations outside the facilities.
- We will not be held liable for violations of the curfew outside the facilities. All athletes and
coaches will receive a document confirming that they have participated or will participate
in the event (professional athletes).
- We will not be held liable for faulty Covid-19 tests preceding event admission.
- The event organizers will not be held liable for theft, accidents, or other case of damage.
