Coach, Thank you for attending this weekend’s event We are very excited to have your program with us. FCP would like to share a few friendly reminders about this weekend’s event, as we hope to provide a great experience for you, your players and your parents. 1. Each team is required to provide 1 scorekeeper for the scorer’s table. 2. With respect to everyone’s time, Game Time is Forfeit Time! Please refer to forfeit rule for further information. Directors do reserve the right to make changes to this rule, if seen necessary. 3. Results will be posted on fcphoops.com on Saturday evening, and every hour on Sunday. 4. If you need immediate scoring updates, please call Jaelen at 609-744-0330. 5. Fighting, Cursing, Taunting or any inappropriate actions at this event will results in immediate disqualification. We encourage all teams to display good sportsmanship at all times! Thank you again and we look forward to hosting your team.
SAFETY PROTOCOL ALL SPECTATORS MUST WEAR MASKS AND DISINFECT THEIR HANDS AT A SANITIZING STATION BEFORE ENTERING THE COURT AREA. SPECTATORS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PAY WITH CASH TO ENTER THE FACILITY. ALL GUESTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THEIR ADMISSION IN ADVANCE OF THE EVENT VIA CREDIT CARD, SO CROWD CONTROL CAN BE HANDLED APPROPRIATELY. SPECTATORS MUST ALLOW 6 FEET (OR 2 SEATS) BETWEEN THEIR FAMILY AND ANOTHER FAMILY. STAFF, SPECTATORS, COACHES & PLAYERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE A CONTACTLESS TEMPERATURE CHECK BEFORE ENTERING THE FACILITY ALL FCP STAFF, INCLUDING OFFICIALS, WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK. PROPOSED IN GAME HYGIENE PROTOCOL EACH TEAM WILL BE REQUIRED TO BRING 1 GAME BALL TO THEIR GAME. THIS WILL PREVENT THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR FROM USING THE SAME BALL FROM GAME TO GAME OVER THE COURSE OF A DAY. WE WILL “SWITCH” GAME BALLS EVERY TIME-OUT TO “DISINFECT” WE WILL “RECOMMEND” ALL COACHES AND PLAYERS WEAR MASKS DURING GAME PLAY, BUT WILL NOT REQUIRE. HAND SANITIZING WILL BE REQUIRED OF ALL PLAYERS, BEFORE ENTERING THE GAME. HAND SANITIZING STATIONS WILL BE PLACED AT THE SCORER’S TABLE. PLAYERS WILL SHOW A CONTACTLESS SIGN OF SPORTSMANSHIP AT THE END OF THE GAME, THAT WILL BE AGREED UPON BY THE COACHES PRIOR TO THE GAME

Tournament Rules EACH TEAM MUST PROVIDE AN OFFICIAL SCOREKEEPER ALL LEVELS: 14 Minute Stopped Clock Halves *If a gym falls behind, the director reserves the right to switch to 20 minute running halves, with clock stopping the last two minutes of the half. Game time is forfeit time. If a team is "late", the clock will begin on time and the team that is present will receive two points for every minute on the game clock that passes. Forfeits do count as an official game (+1 Points). (Exception: If team is coming from another FCP gym, we will wait for that team’s arrival) Mercy Rule: Clock runs with a point differential of 20+ points IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE GAME. If point differential goes under 15, the clock will stop. Each team will receive 3 timeouts which they can use at any point in the game. Half time is 2 minutes in length Teams will be allowed at least 3 minutes between games to warm-up Overtime is 2 minutes in length. Clock stops on all whistles. After the 2 nd OT, Sudden Death will be implemented (the first team to score will win). PRESSING is allowed at all age groups. No pressing if a team is up by 20 points or more in any age group. 10 fouls is 1 and 1 . 13 fouls is double bonus. 6 Player Fouls for Disqualification. All other NJ State High School regulations apply. EACH TEAM MUST PROVIDE AN OFFICIAL SCOREKEEPER
Tie Breakers and Determining Division Champions 1. Best Record 2. Head to Head 3. Point Differential 4. Points Allowed 5. Points For *If 3 or more teams have the same record, the first tie breaker becomes POINTS DIFFERENTIAL (Exception: If one of these teams has defeated all teams with same record) *If a team plays more than 3 games to balance Pool Play, their first 4 games will count toward their record. *If a team is scheduled for only 2 Pool Play Games, they will receive a “-1 Loss” to balance their results with the other 3 Game Participants. Admissions: $12 / Event Pass
PLAYER AGE/GRADE QUALIFICATION All players must meet the grade-level criteria and present a copy of their current 2020-2021 report card for verification. Note: Reports Cards must include the player’s name, school name, current grade, and current school year *The Tournament Director reserves the right to make changes in the best interest of competition for the event. BOY GRADES: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th GIRL GRADES: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th GRADE QUALIFICATIONS 4 A player must be in the 4th grade or under as of October 1, 2021 and cannot turn 12 prior to September 1, 2022. 5 A player must be in the 5th grade or under as of October 1, 2021 and cannot turn 13 prior to September 1, 2022. 6 A player must be in the 6th grade or under as of October 1, 2021 and cannot turn 14 prior to September 1, 2022. 7 A player must be in the 7th grade or under as of October 1, 2021 and cannot turn 15 prior to September 1, 2022. 8 A player must be in the 8th grade or under as of October 1, 2021 and cannot turn 16 prior to September 1, 2022. 9 A player must be in the 9th grade or under as of October 1, 2021 and cannot turn 17 prior to September 1, 2022. 10 A player must be in the 10th grade or under as of October 1, 2021 and cannot turn 18 prior to September 1, 2022. 11 A player must be in the 11th grade or under as of October 1, 2021 and cannot turn 19 prior to September 1, 2022. 12 A player must be in the 12th grade or under as of October 1, 2021 and cannot turn 20 prior to September 1, 2022. ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF AGE VERIFICATION: 1. Original or copy of birth record from the state, country, or municipal Bureau of Vital Statistics at the place of birth. 2. Current and valid Passport. 3. Valid state-issued Driver’s License. 4. Valid state-issued Identification Card. NOTE: If a player exceeds an age limit for any grade level, that player must play at the next highest grade level in which their age meets the requirement. PROTEST RULE If you would like to protest a game, the protest must be submitted prior to the start of the protested game with a fee of $50. All Protests MUST BE SUBMITTED prior to the start of the game. A protest must be filed for each player being challenged. If the protest is upheld and ruling is in favor of the team submitting the protest, they will be refunded the fee. If they protest is not in the favor of the protesting team, the fee will not be refunded.
