ETTU / ITTF – EUROPE EUROTALENTS PROJECT Talent Identification & Selection PARTICIPATION CRITERIA: Each Association may nominate two players (2 girls and 2 boys, born on or later than 1st January 2007) and one accompanying coach. National Associations should nominate their MOST TALENTED PLAYERS from whom future top performance may be expected. Depending on the number of associations entering players ETTU could fill empty places. If the number of entries exceeds the number of available places for the camp, players will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis consider- ing the 2 highest ranked players (1 boy & 1 girl) per association. We encourage the Associations to nominate female coaches as well. SCHEDULE: 7 April: Arrival day and meeting with coaches. 8 – 13 April: Training camp (with tournament) 14 April: Departure day. ETTU / ITTF – EUROPE EUROTALENTS PROJECT Talent Identification & Selection ITTF HOPES WEEK SELECTION ETTU will select the best evaluated three female and three male players born 2007 and later from this camp to attend the ITTF Hopes Week. The whole evaluation procedure will be done by the ETTU coaching team (3 coaches) applying the same criteria as last year. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: Associations should send their entries not later than 22 March 2019 to • CTTC-E - info@cttce.lu, • FLTT (Patrick Massen) - fltt@pt.lu with cc. to • ETTU (Zita Pidl, ETTU Project Consultant) - zpidl.ettu@gmail.com Free cancellation of participants is possible until: 29 March 2019. For cancellation after 29 March 2018, CANCELLATION FEE of EUR 120,-will be charged. FINANCIAL CONDITIONS ETTU will cover subsidy for the accommodation on full board basis for one girl and one boy per Association and the expenses of the camp’s organization. However, a fee of EUR 40,- per participant per day will be charged. Additional players and coaches may be accepted at their own cost of EUR 65,- per day per person. This includes accommodation and food (3 meals per day), local transport and free transport to and from Luxembourg airport, train or bus station.
ETTU / ITTF – EUROPE EUROTALENTS PROJECT Talent Identification & Selection VENUE AND ACCOMODATION: The National Sports Institute of Luxembourg (I.N.S.) is located in Central part of Luxembourg City. Under one roof you can find a gymnasium with 20 tables, a Fitness center, conference rooms, a restaurant, two football fields and a hotel (37 rooms: 20 triple rooms 12 double rooms a 5 single rooms). The players will be accommodated in triple occupancy, the coaches in double occupancy. Please bring towels for your personal needs and requirements. VISA: If you need visa to enter Luxembourg, please send your request for invi- tation letter with copies of scanned passports to the Luxembourg Table Tennis Association (FLTT) fltt@pt.lu Phone: +352 48 37 83, Fax +352 48 37 85 TRANSPORT: ARRIVALS – DEPARTURES Pick up free of charge will be organized from: • Luxembourg-Findel Airport • Luxembourg railway station For those coming with their own vehicle, free parking close to the hotel will be available. In case of short-term changes on the arrival day please call +352 621 213784 (Martin Ostermann) MEETING FOR COACHES: A meeting with the coaches and the Head Coach will be held on th 7 April at 8 p.m.
ETTU / ITTF – EUROPE EUROTALENTS PROJECT Talent Identification & Selection EXTRA ACTIVITIES: Other cultural activities can be organized on a free afternoon, on request and at an extra cost. Free Internet and WiFi are available in the hotel. Interesting NOTE: From 15.April. the ITTF Junior Circuit BEL will take place in Spa (Belgium). There will also be a Hopes category starting on 15.April.
