COVID-19 RETURN OF SUPPORTERS: CODE OF CONDUCT ABERDEEN FOOTBALL CLUB SEASON 2021-2022
TO ENSURE YOUR EXPERIENCE AT PITTODRIE STADIUM IS SAFE AND ENJOYABLE, YOU MUST FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES IN THIS CODE OF CONDUCT. COMPLIANCE WITH THIS CODE IS ESSENTIAL AND SHOWS RESPECT FOR YOUR FELLOW SUPPORTERS WHILST ALSO PROTECTING YOURSELF, YOUR CLUB, YOUR SPORT, AND YOUR COMMUNITY. IMPORTANT POINTS ! • If you are unwell or display any symptoms of Covid-19 – you must not attend. • If you have tested positive for Covid-19 or have been in contact with anyone infected with Covid-19 in the 10 days prior to the game – you must not attend. • If you test positive for Covid-19 in the 10 days after the game, you must inform the club at the earliest opportunity. (Ticketoffice@afc.co.uk or 01224 631903) • If you are self-isolating or in quarantine (e.g., returning from a country on the red list) you must not attend. Supporters who have returned from abroad should only attend a game if they have followed the current guidelines on testing as detailed on the Scottish Government website, as a day 2 return LFD/PCR test may still be required. • All tickets are non-transferable. If you cannot attend, please contact the ticket office who can arrange for another Season Ticket holder to take your place. • Spectators must remain in seats registered to their contact details at the point of sale. • Please ensure all members of your group attending the game are made aware of all the information within the COVID-19 Return to Supporters: Code of Conduct ahead of travelling to the game. • In case of an emergency please follow the instructions from the Match Announcer and Stewards. C O V I D VA C C I N A T I O N / L A T E R A L F L O W T E S T I N G • The Scottish Government along with the SFA and SPFL strongly recommend that all supporters who intend on attending a match at Pittodrie Stadium take a lateral flow test before travelling to the game and only attend if the result is negative. • Supporters attending matches at Pittodrie Stadium must either be a) fully vaccinated which includes booster vaccine for those who had a second dose more than four months ago; or b) provide proof of a negative lateral flow test. (This is following up to date Scottish Government guidance and legislation) • Fully vaccinated includes the booster vaccine for those who had a second dose more than four months ago. It must also be at least 14 days since the last dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. • All clubs are required to complete spot checking of supporters prior to admittance, and at least 50% of the expected attendance. • Turnstiles will open 75 minutes before kick-off please arrive in good time and have your proof of fully vaccinated documents or proof of a negative lateral flow test ready for checking. Late arrivals may result in a delay entering the stadium. • Paper copies of proof are advised and the recommended option, however acceptable formats of proof include all electronical formats and a working Covid Status app. • For more details on Covid Status please go to: www.nhsinform.scot/nhs-scotland-covid-status SUPPORTERS CODE OF CONDUCT | 2021-2022
HYGIENE • Hand Sanitiser – please use on entry and throughout the stadium. • Face coverings – face coverings must always be worn properly within all indoor areas including hospitality, toilets, catering and concourse areas. • Face coverings are strongly recommended in all outdoor seated areas. • Toilets – Facilities are available for use with the appropriate hygiene measures, please follow the Stewards advice. Cleaners will be on duty throughout the game to ensure good hygiene and cleaning procedures are in place. • Please dispose of all rubbish in the bins provided. • Avoid or minimise – touching of surfaces, your face, eyes, nose, and mouth. B E F O R E A R R I VA L • Ticket/mobile ticketing – remember to take these as you will require them for access to the stadium. • Face coverings – face coverings must always be worn properly within all indoor areas including hospitality, toilets, catering and concourse areas. • Know your route & entry gate – access to the stadium may differ to previous visits. • Know your arrival time – Entry times may be staggered to ease entry for your safety, if an entry time is specified on your ticket, be there on time. Turnstiles will open 75 minutes prior to kick off. • Wash and Sanitise Hands – Sanitising stations will be situated around the stand/ground. • Small bags and bags required for medical or childcare reasons are permitted, medical or childcare bags must be declared when purchasing your ticket. • Spectators who are accompanied by children are responsible for supervising them at all times. • Proof of Covid Vaccination / Proof of Negative COVID-19 LFD or PCR Test – remember to take this with you. A R R I VA L • Arrive in good time and at your allocated time (if active) slot to go through all procedures – at the correct gate. • Follow signs & Steward instructions – these are to keep you safe. • Comply with social distancing rules at all times. • Have your proof of Vaccine Status or negative lateral flow test ready. • Ticket/mobile ticketing – should be ready for inspection. • Security checks – will be in operation as normal. • Turnstiles – Where possible, please avoid using your hands to turn the turnstile. • Supporters with paper tickets are reminded to retain and keep your ticket on you at all times. • Avoid or minimise – touching of surfaces, your face, eyes, nose, and mouth. • Maintain good hand hygiene – use the hand sanitiser available throughout the ground. • Locate your seats – sit only in your allocated seats. • Observe respiratory etiquette – always cover your mouth if needing to cough or sneeze. • Face coverings – face coverings must always be worn properly within all indoor areas including hospitality, toilets, catering and concourse areas. DURING THE GAME • Remain in your allocated seat – (standing is strictly prohibited) – and comply with social distancing rules at all times. • When in your seated area, when moving past other spectators, to and from your seat, please avoid face to face contact with other spectators not in your group. • Match Ball – should the match ball enter the stand, please pass this down to the ball boy to be sanitised, under no circumstances should you throw the ball onto the pitch. Please ensure that you sanitise your own hands once the ball has been passed back. • Face coverings – face coverings must always be worn properly within all indoor areas including hospitality, toilets, catering and concourse areas. Face coverings are strongly recommended in all outdoor seated areas. • Observe respiratory etiquette – always cover your mouth if needing to cough or sneeze. • Take extreme care when shouting, singing, or celebrating. FULL TIME & EXITING THE STADIUM • If you need to leave early, please advise a steward who will advise you of the safest exit route. • Comply with social distancing rules at all times. • Exits may be staggered to keep supporters safe and allow for a safe exit. You may be held back for your safety. • Stewards – are onsite to keep you safe, please follow their instructions. • Rubbish – take it with you and dispose of it in the bins provided. • Hand Sanitiser – please use on exiting the stadium. • Staff or players – please do not make any attempt to approach any staff or players. Thank you for following the Code of Conduct set out above, this helps to ensure we continue to welcome larger crowds at Pittodrie. Failure to comply with this code of conduct may jeopardise public health, harm the reputation of the club, the sport, and the wider community. Non-compliance will be treated with the utmost seriousness and may result in disciplinary sanctions by the Club which may lead to long term exclusion from the Ground. The code of conduct has been put together to help ensure the safety of all fans, staff, and players equally. To ensure your health and safety after your visit to Pittodrie Stadium, please remember: 1. PLEASE REMEMBER TO FOLLOW SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT ADVICE AND COMPLETE A LATERAL FLOW TEST BEFORE MEETING UP WITH OTHER PEOPLE. 2. PLEASE WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WITHIN ALL INDOOR AREAS INCLUDING HOSPITALITY, CATERING, TOILETS AND CONCOURSE AREAS. 3. PLEASE SANITISE ON ENTRY & EXIT & FREQUENTLY WHILST IN THE STADIUM.
