May 2020 Clover Tribune Wildlife Judging Judging team is designed to teach youth the fundamentals of wildlife and fisheries science and management. 4-Hers will learn to identify furs, sounds animals make, how to prepare a piece of land to attract more of a specific animal. Practices are being conducted via zoom every Monday. If your child is interested please email brigpass@utk.edu for more information. Horse Judging Livestock Exhibition Interested in learning more about horses Interested in raising sheep, cattle, hogs, horses, and their confirmation? Come serve on goats, etc.? Contact our office to get started the Tipton County 4-H Horse Judging with raising livestock and understanding the Team. Any 4th –12th grader is eligible to process where youth can attend the livestock serve on our county team. Horse judging shows this summer. Open to any youth 4th-12th practices will be conducted via Zoom. If grade. your child is interested please email brigpass@utk.edu fro more information. Academic Conference Update No doubt you’ve been wondering about the state of Junior High Academic Conference currently scheduled for June 2020 since all summer, face-to-face meetings have been cancelled. Cupcake War Youth of all ages can participate Join our Cupcake War contest by experimenting with your favorite cupcake recipes by adding a little spark ! To enter the contest upload your cupcake recipe and a photo of your finished cupcake into the Tipton County UT-TSU Extension Digital Cookbook no later than May 26! Tipton County Pen Pal Program Interested in learning about what other county 4-H members are doing in Tipton County during the COVID-19? Miss Brigitte is organizing a pen pal program where each 4-H member can learn more about their experiences during this outbreak, share stories, and other interesting facts to help spread some sunshine between our members. Any youth 6-12th grade in Tipton County can participate in this program. To sign up please email brigpass@utk.edu for more information and how to sign up. Babysitting R.O.C.K.S! Babysitting ROCKS targets youth 12 and older and provides them with a comprehensive experience with all aspects of babysitting topics. Broad topics include child development, health, safety, communicating with parents, saving money, etc. The program will be conducted in a virtual format based on the availability of youth interested in the program. The cost of the program is $30 and will include a babysitting handbook, a knapsack filled with babysitting necessities., and a certification of completion!
