 minutes The illustration style can sometimes be one of the most memorable aspects of a book! Illustrators each have a unique style and ability to add
 on Zoom extra meaning to a story through their drawings.
 + time to In this Zoom session we will explore different illustration styles and you will be set your own illustration challenge!

 This book won last year’s Carnegie Medal so we will begin the session by discussing what the Carnegie Medal is, before enjoying Chapter 1 of
 this action-adventure story.

11:45am 10 mins BONJOUR! A STORY IN FRENCH!
 Mrs Campion will be reading a simple story in French- if you are learning French (or aren’t but are interested
 anyway!) come along to this session for a little linguistic challenge!

 12:15pm 30 Song writing and storytelling through music.

 Join Mr Rees to explore how songs can tell powerful stories, use narratives as structural devices and how the music itself can illustrate a
 story.
 Anyone who has an interest in lyrics and song writing in any style should participate.

 minutes This session, in which we will be reading ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ together, is for anybody working at home, with a younger brother or
 sister- if they are pre-school age (or aren’t busy completing their own schoolwork) then please feel free to bring them along to the session.
