TRAMPOLINE AND TUMBLING BTYC Trampoline & Tumbling Invite – 24th June 2018 We are so excited to be telling you about the first TRP & TUM competition of 2018 for BTYC. It was a great day, and needless to say, the children very much enjoyed an opportunity to play some fun games with some new friends. Athletes from both the Trampoline and Tumbling programs competed in some of the 3 different events including Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Tumbling. We had 6 athletes in total in attendance on the day, with all our athletes remembering why it is we attend competition, not just for the medals, but for the fun of competing! Some of the great results on the day included Jemima placing 3rd in Level 3S Tramp and 8th in Level 3S Double Mini. Ned placed 3rd in Level 1 Tramp and 4th in Level 1 Double Mini. Scarlet placed 1st in Level 1 Tramp and 3rd in Level 1 Double Mini. Luke placed 9th in Level 3S Tramp and 12th in Level 3S Double Mini. Logan placed 2nd in Level 5 Tramp, 1st in Level 5 Double Mini and 1st in Level 3S Tumbling. Finally, our only Tumbling athlete Kaylee placed 6th in Level 1 Tumbling. A special big thank you to Mark and Jordan who came and coached the athletes on the weekend, your encouragement and support was fantastic and we look forward to seeing Jordan compete for BTYC again very soon! Competitions can be a great way for children to progress through our testing levels, providing them with experience performing skills to an audience and judge, as well as getting to see older athletes perform some of the skills they are aiming towards. We would like to encourage all of our Trampoline and Tumbling athletes to consider attending these events in the future. BTYC will be hosting an internal event later in the year, which we hope you will all consider attending. We will also be attending the Trampoline and Tumbling competition at Essendon Keilor on 26th August, so if you are interested, please contact Karen! Check out a video of some of the great routines on our YouTube channel here https://youtu.be/1pasB_UUn7s
