Dear Brother Knight,
WOW, what a whirlwind of events we have experienced in the last tweleve months. And with that this year's state
bowling tournament is right around the corner. Barring another late summer with Mother Nature wreaking havoc on
south Louisiana, our 2021 event will return to Baton Rouge and All Star Lanes. Once again, the tournament will take
place over two consecutive weekends in August. We hope you will join us on either the 14th-15th or 21st-22nd.
As in the past, ƚŚĞ tournament will consist of the following events: 4-man team, singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
DEADLINE FOR ALL ENTRIES IS ƵŐƵƐƚϰƚŚ. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN THIS DATE! Consistent

All KC members and their ĨĞŵĂůĞ guests are eligible whether league bowlers or not. PLEASE READ ALL enclosed RULES
and the ENTRY FORM CAREFULLY, especially Rule 3(b) for averages of Non-Bowlers. Again this year, NON-BOWLERS
who have a tournament average WILL be allowed to use that average as opposed to the customary 150 or 135

For your convenience, we have secured a block of rooms for both weekends at the Holiday Inn Baton Rouge South
located at 9990 Airline Highway. The cost of a single/double occupancy room is $79, plus applicable taxes and fees.

TOURNAMENT RULES
RULE 1. The Tournament is open to all members in good standing of the Knights of Columbus of Louisiana and will be conducted under
the rules of the United States Bowling Congress. Through USBC Moral Support Sanction, high score recognition is automatically ex-
tended to USBC members. Each entrant must verify KC membership by presentation of KC Membership Card upon registration.
RULE 2. A handicap based on of the difference between each player’s average and the tournament scratch basis of pins
per game will be allowed in each event of the tournament. Handicaps shall be calculated for each bowler for a three-game scratch

bowling, whether it be team, singles/doubles or mixed doubles. All entrants MUST display possession of a current Knights of
Columbus membership card when checking in.
