WELCOME TO THE CAMDEN RED SOX
BASEBALL CLUB!!
The Camden Red Sox are a club built on the back of a combination of hard-working volunteers and members
who are passionate about the sport of baseball.
The Camden Red Sox is an equal opportunity club catering to people of all ages, genders, and races. We hold
our members as our most precious assets and are always looking to develop them, not just as baseballers,
but also as people, teammates, members of the greater community, and as our family.
Please find enclosed all you will need to know about registering for the 2021 - 2022 Summer season.
We have hopefully covered all avenues, but feel free to contact us if you have any questions or issues.

REGISTRATION CHECKLIST
1. Are you using an Active Kids Voucher? (Have the number ready along with your child's date of birth)
If DOB is 16th May 2020, please enter as 1605. NO YEAR.
2. Check the PLAYER AGE MATRIX 2021 - 2022 and confirm player/s league age - Select the MONTH & YEAR of
players' date of birth and follow it to the LEAGUE AGE column. This is your player's LEAGUE AGE.
3. Check the MBL COMPETITIONS 2021 - 2022 - Reference your player's LEAGUE AGE with the CLUB
COMPETITION to confirm the age group your player will be in.
Aussie = Aussie T-Ball
T Ball = T-Ball
Zooka = Machine Pitch
For new registrations that have NOT played before and that have more than one CLUB COMPETITION to choose
from we recommend that you choose the lower age group.
For returning players, we suggest you have a conversation with your last season's team to see who is moving
up/staying down to help you select the competition you wish to play in this season if you are wanting to remain as a
team.
4. Size your player/s up! Use the sizing chart to select your -
PLAYING SHIRT, TRAINING SHIRT & PLAYING HAT.
Head over to our uniform sizing guide and measure up.
AUSSIE T-BALL, T-BALL & ZOOKA playing shirts & training shirts are the same brand & therefore the same sizing.
Hence there will only be one question on the registration form.
AUSSIE T-BALL & T-BALL PLAYING HATS are one size fits all. You will not be required to enter a size as it will be
prepopulated on our forms.
NEW TO ZOOKA PLAYING HATS - Please refer to the sizing guide to enter on your registration form.
RETURNING ZOOKA PLAYERS - If you need a new hat you can place an order via our online shop.

for those who don't like a guide.
Full membership fee is payable when registering so please have your credit card or debit card details ready when
registering. If you are experiencing financial hardship please contact Kaydee at
secretarycamdenredsox@gmail.com for a confidential discussion.
When registering more than one player, it is recommended that you register one player at a time, and closing
your browser before registering any additional players.
Please use the account you created or your existing account from last season.
Please have your active voucher downloaded and ready to use in the registration process
if you are using one.
Once you hit "Apply" and the membership price is discounted, this is deemed
that the voucher has been redeemed, so you MUST progress to payment, as you WILL NOT be able to use the voucher
again

FAQ'S
Can I use my Active Kids Voucher? Yes, we are an approved NSW Services Active Kids Provider. Please have your
voucher downloaded and ready to process when registering.
When does the season start and end? The Summer season usually commences mid-September and runs through
to February, with finals in March breaking for the school holidays.
What days are training & games held? Training can be on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
afternoon./evening depending on coaches' availability with games played Saturday mornings.
My child would like to be placed with a friend is this possible? You are able to make a request for placement
when your register. We will make every effort to fulfill your request.
What uniform is required? White playing pants, red socks & a navy belt. Runners/Joggers are fine for playing.

For RETURNING player's ZOOKA & up, if you require a replacement hat, this can be ordered from our online store.

What equipment will I need? Your child will need a glove & Zooka players will also need a protector. Our team kit
bags are stocked with batting helmets and bats for the children to use. **While stocks last, AUSSIE T-BALL NEW
registrations receive an AUSSIE T-BALL KIT which includes a glove & ball.
Do you have a COVID safe plan in place? Yes, we have a detailed COVID plan in place that complies with NSW
Health Government guidelines.
When will I be contacted about my team? Once our registration closes, teams will be formed and coaches will be
allocated from there. Due to the current outbreak, plans for a meet & greet are pending. As the health advise and
restrictions change so will our plans, we will keep players up to date with current information.
Updates will be via Email, Social Media & Team App.
Team App is available to download on your smartphone
I would like to volunteer, who do I contact? Fantastic! Being a volunteer-run club, we depend on helpers.
The first thing we suggest you do is to obtain your WWCC from Services NSW.

ALL volunteers are required to register as a volunteer through the same online link.
