Introduction
On Saturday/Sunday March 14/15, 2020 Codarts, University of the Arts
(Rotterdam, The Netherlands) will hold its annual workshops and audition
in Barcelona, Spain. This audition is for the bachelor’s degree programme
Dance Performer at Codarts. The audition will be held at the CDC, Centre
de Dansa de Catalunya, the studios of ex international and principal Ballet
dancers Roser Muñoz and Joan Boix.
Codarts welcomes all those who wish to audition for Codarts to apply to do either a) combination of
the workshop and audition, b) just the audition alone or c) the workshop alone for those who feel
that they are not ready to audition for Codarts, but want to have a taste of what the school has to
offer.
Codarts
Codarts offers an exciting four year programme that prepares the future professional dancer for the
current dance world. Many of the Codarts alumni are now working with many of the most
prestigious choreographers and companies in the working field today. We have varied and
experienced teachers and an exciting repertoire of renowned, new generation and up and coming
choreographers. Studying at Codarts also offers an opportunity to live in a vibrant and cultural city
where dance is prominent on its main stages and communities.
The Workshop
Codarts has a rich and varied repertoire, which has been built up over the years through a close and
fruitful working relationship with some of the most innovative and important choreographers in the
dance world. Our repertoire includes well established choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, Ed Wubbe,
and Mauro Bigonzetti, and new generation artists such as Hofesh Shechter, Club Guy&Roni (Roni
Haver & Guy Weizman), Adonis Foniadakis, Felix Landerer, Marina Mascarell and Cayetano Soto.
During the workshop sections from ballets in our current repertoire will taught.

Introducción
Los próximos 14 y 15 de Marzo de 2020, Codarts, Universidad de Artes
(Rotterdam, Países Bajos) llevará a cabo su taller y la audición anual en
Barcelona, España. Esta es la audición de acceso al programa del grado
universitario en Danza en Codarts Dance. La audición se llevará a cabo en
el CDC, Centre de Dansa de Catalunya, los estudios de los ex bailarines
principales internacionales, Roser Muñoz y Joan Boix.
Codarts invita a todos aquellos que deseen hacer la audición para Codarts a escoger entre las
siguientes opciones: a) combinación de taller y audición, b) sólo la audición o c) sólo el taller para
aquellos que sientan que aún no están preparados para hacer la audición, pero que quieren tener
una idea de lo que les puede ofrecer la escuela.
Codarts
Codarts ofrece un atractivo programa de cuatro años que prepara al bailarín profesional del futuro
para el mundo de la danza. Muchos de los alumnos graduados en Codarts están ahora trabajando
con los coreógrafos y las compañías más prestigiosas del mundo. Codarts tiene maestros variados y
experimentados y un interesante repertorio formado por reconocidos coreógrafos y también por
nuevos valores emergentes. Estudiar en Codarts ofrece también la oportunidad de vivir en una
ciudad vibrante y cultural en el que la danza tiene un lugar destacado en los principales teatros y
comunidades que forman la ciudad.
El Workshop
Codarts tiene un repertorio rico y variado, que ha desarrollado durante años a través de una cercana
y provechosa relación con algunos de los coreógrafos más importantes e innovadores del mundo de
la danza. Nuestro repertorio incluye coreógrafos como Jiří Kylián, Ed Wubbe, Mauro Bigonzetti y Club
Guy&Roni, y artistas emergentes como Adonis Foniadakis, Felix Landerer, Marina Mascarell y
Cayetano Soto. Durante el workshop se enseñarán partes de las piezas del repertorio actual.
