Prosper Youth October Double Feature
Sunday, October 3rd
On first Sundays, Prosper Youth follow up their regular Sunday night gathering, UNION, with a
special outing.
For October, we will venture over to Whataburger (Prosper). Help needed transporting from church
at 6:45pm. Parent pick-up from Whataburger.

Thirst to Thrive Begins New Study
Thirst to Thrive Women’s Group will begin a new study, Messy People: Life Lessons from Imperfect
Biblical Heroes, this month. There will be a daytime group meeting on Tuesdays at 9 am and an
evening group, also on Tuesdays at 7 pm. Both groups will meet via Zoom.
The study will begin with a zoom “Meet and Greet” on September 14th and lesson 1 on September
21st.

Represent PUMC at Celebrate Prosper
Prosper UMC will once again provide refreshments at Celebrate Prosper in the Park (formerly
Prosper Picnic). We are looking for a few volunteers to help with setup, serving & clean up.
This event will be the perfect time to show hospitality to neighbors and friends while enjoying
live blues and jazz bands. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25th from 5:00-9:00 pm at
Frontier Park. All ages are invited to serve!

Join the men of True Grit for Bible & BBQ every Wednesday, 11:45am at Rudy’s in Frisco.

up to the Lord during private prayer time and may be shared in the weekly bulletin.
