Although this system has been in operation for a while, it is the first one of its kind to be used at a school and has proved to be highly effective. We view this as a long term solution that will bolster the safety and security of our students, staff and parents. There are strict procedures and protocols that need to be adhered to during this time and we request that our parents be co-operative when entering the college.
The Santa Shoebox Project is a nationwide charity drive that encourages the public to donate a personalised gift to an underprivileged child. Our team of volunteers ensures that YOUR gift is handed to YOUR allocated child. This year the Ballito satellite is aiming to support 7 crèches, 5 primary schools, 2 secondary schools and a community development centre! While we are acutely aware that this has been a tough year for everyone, that finances are tight and that many of you have already dug generously in your pockets, we are equally conscious of how desperate the needs of the children we are aiming to support are. Some of the children we are supporting are local, but we are also trying to reach more rural children who have had very little support this year. Please help us to bring those children a gift of love. The Ballito team want to reach 2100 children in our community this year. Every gift counts! Easy-Peasy! Go to www.santashoebox.org.za to register and pledge a gift or gifts! Or download the Santa Shoebox Project APP from the APP store and register and pledge on your mobile!
