Live Period #1 was packed with a lot of
     basketball in a small radius in the Los
     Angeles County area. With the players
   excited to play in front of coaches again it
seems like all were ready to show the college
   coaches what they have been missing. We
     made our rounds to the various events
checking on the more underrated and hidden
 talent, and they did not disappoint. We didn’t
get to see everyone we liked to, but these are
             the players we did see.

INSTANT IMPACT PLAYERS

Roddie Anderson 6-2 Fountain Valley – Cali Rebels 2022
He took full advantage of the opportunities he had this week to show how great of a distributor his
   is and a very capable lead guard. His jump shot has improved since the spring and made a
numerous number of shots in transition and on the break. He constantly found the open wings that
      lead to easy baskets for them. He defended well this weekend which was fun to watch.
                            Kaleb Smith 6-8 Damien – Prodigy 2022
  Long athlete that stretches the defense. Effective down low and will punish you with contact or
  when you make the wrong move trying to defend him. Plays with high hands on defense. Time
    after time all weekend he made the right plays for his team. High ceiling for this prospect.
                   Devean Williams 6-4 Narbonne – Fastbreak Sports 2022
Showed game after game why he is one of the top guards in the area. His impact on the game and
    leadership is what stuck out because he didn’t particularly shoot it well from the three this
weekend like he normally does but he didn’t seem discouraged by it one bit. He rebounded hard
played solid defense and imposed his will by getting to the basket with ease and made mid-range
                    shots. His court vision from and off-guard position is rare.

Caden Harris 6-5 Summit High School – Players Play 2022
 Knocked down shooter not someone you want to leave open. Quick release and can score of the bounce
   and with a hand in his face. When teams did try to trap him and run him off the line, he made good
decisions with finding open teammates. He is also very athletic and rebounded well. Made a strong effort
                               to show he can defend. Emerging prospect.
                              Adam Hinton 6-5 Exter Academy – BTI 2022
Very head smart guard that gets to his spot and gets the job done. Shot it well all weekend and defended
at a high level. He is quicker than he looks and when he gets to the basket finish at the rim. Does not get
             rattled when he plays and encouraged his teammates with his hard-nosed play.
                         Melo Sanchez 6-5 Mater Dei Catholic – Veritas 2022
  Athletic shooter that uses screens effectively. Shot it well all weekend and will score in multiple ways.
 Willingly will go down low to post smaller players if he sees he has a mismatch. Rebound well out of his
                                             area for a scorer.
                     Rockwell Reynolds 6-9 Santa Margarita – Cali Rebels 2023
  Impressive player great at running the floor and will get it done on both ends. Defensively will block a
    shot catch it and run the break to get the offense going. Was hard to stop this weekend because he
rebounded so well and was always in position. Blocked a countless number of shots this weekend. Showed
                                              a lot of toughness.

Elijah Price 6-9 St Anthony’s – Carson Lightning 2022

 Athletic big wing that brings it on both sides of the ball. Handles the ball well and knocks down
open shots extended out to the 3. He finishes around the rim well and rebounds at a high rate. Had
        a big game this weekend with double digit points and rebounds. Rising prospect.

                         Jeremy Dent 6-3 Serra – Orange Nation 2022

Tough guard that plays hard every play. Mid-range and long-range shooter that is always in attack
  mode on the offensive end. Sneaky athletically as he soars in and grabs a lot of rebounds when
 teams do not expect him to rebound. Game after game he shows that he can play at a high level.

                  Bence Duka 6-8 Capo Valley Christian – Cali Rebels 2022

 Bence is 6’8 and looks about 225lbs all muscle who is a banger inside for rebound. But is really
 skilled and has the ability to make plays for himself and others out of the high post and has the
                    ability to shoot and score from the high post area as well.

PLAYERS

Pierre Geneste 6-11 Ribet Academy – LA Rockfish 2024

High level rebounder and shot blocker. Didn’t see many young prospects affect the game the way he does when he is on
        the floor. Did not seem to be intimidated or afraid to bang down low for sure a guy to continue to watch.

                                Jason Hart Jr 6-2 St. Bernard’s – Orange Nation 2022

 Smart lead guard that knows how to run a team and run it well. Is a threat every time down the floor because he will get
the basket, knock down the mid-range jumpshot. He is an absolute terror on defense he will score on you and be right in
                                                     your face.

                                Tyler Matthews 6-2 Los Alamitos – Cali Rebels 2022

Heady guard who can score plays out of P&R extremely well making all the right reads he a great shooter and really has a
                                                 knack for scoring.

                                 Gavin Davis 6-6 TMG Prep – Fastbreak Sports 2021

Long athletic wing that defends his position and the opposing team’s best player. Is a consistent long-range shooter and
  above the rim finisher. Problem on both ends because of his length and his ability to play a point forward position.

Kaden Minter 6-7 Mater Dei - Cali Rebels 2022

Shooter who can guard multiple positions. Needs to add strength but can be a D1 prospect if he added some strength.

                                    Justin Daniels 6-4 Taft – Belmont Shore 2023

Solid player and shot it well from multiple spots on the floor and his ability to get to the lane made him hard to guard
                          this weekend. Very consistent this weekend. Very high energy guy.

                                 Jovante King 6-5 Blackfoot High – SEI Wolves 2023

 Did everything on both ends of the floor. High impact player leads the break when he rebounds and finds the open
 man with little to no mistakes. Was surprised by his high energy on both ends of the floor. Also shot it well out to the
                                                         three.

                                Biko Johnson 6-2 TMG Prep – Fastbreak Sports 2021

 Quick high-flying guard that had multiple dunks from the point guard spot this weekend. Solid jump shot and assist
                                                man. Defends well.

Josiah Sanders 6-6 Bella Vista – AZ Firestorm 2022

Hardnosed player that plays with a passion. Lefty that has range, rebounds well and makes you guard him with
                                        his effective inside out play.

                           Mac West 6-4 Capo Valley Christian – Cali Rebels 2022

 Super athletic wing who has the ability to finish over the rim at a consistently. Also has a beautiful two dribble
                pull-up. Mac showed the ability to guard multiple positions with his athleticism.

                             Jayce Johnson 6-5 Wiseburn – Fastbreak Sports 2022

Taller point guard that is an interesting prospect at this moment. Shows promise on both ends. Gets downhill on
                         the break and finishes tough layups. A lot quicker than he looks.

                             Makiah Williams 6-1 St Anthony – Cali Rebels 2022

      Super athletic guard who can get to the paint at will. Can shoot the three ball and plays nice the rim.
                            (Sleeper Alert: can be as good as Roddie and Devean)

Bradley Bennett 6-3 Redondo – BTI 2022
Great shooter and spreads the floor. Quick release and drives hard when ran off the line for crafty finishes. Very good leader
        and very vocal when in the game, looks to get everyone involved and is an off the chart’s academic student.
                                         Ruben Sevilla 5-9 Hillcrest – Inland 2023
 Quick and smart floor general that does it all for his team. Leads the whole game and gets everyone in their spots. Knocks
                                  down open shots, great finisher in the paint for his size.
                                  Kaden Kent 5-9 Los Alamitos – Cal Rebels Select 2022
Ultra-quick pg who excels in the open court as well as the half court has the ability to get to his spots with his crossover and
 pull up on a dime to cash in his sweet jumpshot. Also has the ability to pick up fullcourt and harass the other teams guard

                                        Arion Cox 6-3 Santiago – Rancho Elite 2022
High energy player that rebounds well and attacks the basket hard every time. He finishes a lot of tough layups against taller
                                         defenders. Solid jumpshot out to the 3.
                            Erick Chaney 6-0 Bakersfield Christian – Cali Rebels Select 2022
  Big time scoring guard who can really shoot the ball from deep plays extremely hard and can defend both guard spots at
                     high level and can make plays off the bounce for himself as well as his teammates.
