INTRODUCTION Given the events of the last year, 2021 is a good time to pause, engage and talk about the future we want for Auckland Cricket. This is an open, emergent and on-going process. What follows is intended to stimulate thinking, questions, learning and action. NOT STARTING OUR SHARED VISION FROM SCRATCH FOR CRICKET The good news is we start with many strengths NZC has engaged extensively in the last few years – especially the passion for cricket in Auckland, and we are excited to embrace their shared call to and in particular across our Club network. HOTSPOTS Success in this work will require us face into our hotspots - issues that as a community we said distract, undermine and drain our energy.
