The Race and the Media Offices are located in the Marina main building
(see map in slide 3 and 4 of the Venue Info Pack).

Craning at Marina de Lagos
Craning is provided by the Organising Authority during the official craning schedules. If
you wish to crane earlier or later you need to place a request with the Organising
Authority. Craning outside the official craning schedules is at cost of the teams.
The craning out sequence of boats after the last regatta on Sunday will be arrange
according to container placement and logistics required. The Organising Authority will
provide a craning list accordingly. To provide a fast service we are planning on using two
cranes on Sunday. Craning will start straight after the last regatta. There will be no craning
during the period of the prize giving.
Parking at Marina de Lagos
Parking is available in front of the Marina Club Hotel Lagos.

Berthing at Marina de Lagos
The Organising Authority will provide an assigned berth for each boat at Marina de
Lagos.
Support boats / training before the regatta
Please read the special instructions in the Notice of Race (NoR) point 6. and the Event
Notice of Race (ENoR) point 13. applying to all support boats in Lagos.
If you are training on the before the start of the official training check in with Rodrigo
Rodrigo Moreira Rato for a dedicated briefing.

During the official regatta days the racing can be followed live on the GC32 Racing Tour

Any press attending the GC32 Lagos Cup must be accredited. Please contact

Opening / Press Conference
The event will be opened on Wednesday 26th of June after the practice races
at 18.30 in the GC32 Lounge next to the Marina main building with a Press
Conference and Opening Aperitif.

On Saturday evening the 29th of June the Official Regatta Dinner will be held at the
Linda Beach Restaurant in Lagos.
Prize Giving
On Sunday 30th of June after racing at 17.00 the Prize Giving will be held at GC32
Lounge close to Marina main building.

GC32 Lounge
The GC32 Lounge will be located close to Marina main building and will serve Morning
Coffee at the Skippers Briefing and Happy Hour Drinks after racing. To access the GC32
Lounge you will need to show the event bracelet. Eight bracelets per team are included
in your entry. For additional members to the team bracelets can be purchased for the
price of € 80 for the duration of the event.

GC32 On Board Guest Hospitality
We will run a limited On Board Guest program. Guest sailing will be limited to training
sessions, speed runs and dedicated “on board guest periods” and will be only run if the
prevailing conditions are suitable. Numbers of spots will be shared between the teams
(50%) and GC32 Class (50%). There will be no more the two speed runs per day.

Event Photography
Sailing Energy will be the 2019 GC32 Racing Tour photographers and will in Lagos from
the 25th of June onwards. Photos will be available on a photoshelter account for press
and teams. Photos are rights free for editorial usage but must be credited: ‘©Sailing

Event Video Production
Icarus Sports is in charge of the video production and distribution for the event.
VNR’s, daily highlights, short social features and a wrap up video will be produced and
distributed.
