If you seek miracles
To whom, oh our beloved Saint Anthony, will we remember for having those graces of which
we have so much need? In your song it is said that if we want graces we have to turn to You;
and to You, O dear Saint Anthony, we run with all of our faith and our hope, because You will
obtain from Jesus the graces for which we ask.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be…

Death
Yes, O Miraculous Saint, death is one of those misfortunes that afflicts humanity daily; and we
for wanting to do God’s will, many times we don’t have the strength to endure with resignation
this cruel break!! You that has revived many dead, save our dear ones from death of body and
more importantly, death of the soul.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Sin
O fervent Apostle, we live in times in which sin wins, seeing as errors are committed by
teachers and those who not only spread atheism in higher professions, but also by those who
love such works and by women. O You who were called the hammer of heretics, save our
generations, especially the young, from all these mistakes and sins that destroy social order and
weaken our Faith.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

                                                9
Misfortune
O our lovable Saint, we find ourselves in so many adversities and misery, oh! You, from your
merciful and great heart take us in mercy, alleviate us from all of these anxieties that afflict us,
and we promise to you, we will alleviate your poor from corporal misery.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

The Devil
Alas! How the devil tortures us. He assaults us with false and impure visions, he tempts us with
worldly pleasures, he never gives us a moment of peace…. So, You, conqueror of Satan, chase
away the demons that infest the souls and bodies, keep them far away from us, this way they
will not poison us anymore with their repulsive mouths.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Leprosy
Unfortunately, too may illnesses mar and torment our bodies! But You, oh exceptional Saint,
that has healed and heals much unhappiness, heal us; and don’t only free us and our loved ones
from bodily illnesses, but more so free us from sin, that like leprosy, deforms our souls and
makes us unrecognizable to the Good Lord Jesus. Yes, O Saint Anthony, convert all sinners and
vagabonds, inspire the cold and indifferent with our Holy Faith.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

The Sick may Heal
You, O dearest Saint Anthony, that are called the Saint of Miracles, because every soul that
invoked You with faith was healed, alas! Show all the sick that run to You, Your power, heal
them from their illnesses that torment them, heal those that belong to us and all those that trust
in You and who we entrust to You.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Stop all Dangers
O great Saint, thousands of dangers surround us, dangers to the soul and body. We are never
safe and we live always in fear and uncertainty of our future. Alas! Keep us safe from every
danger and from every evil, now and always.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Fulfill every necessity
If at the invocation of your Name all danger vanishes, also all needs are fulfilled; and we find
ourselves in need of thousands of necessities: who will help us? You O Saint Anthony, you who
are the Saint of consolation and hope.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

                                                 10
The testimony of those aided
No, our dearest Saint Anthony, we do not need the testimony of those from Padua in order to
believe your power as a miracle worker, we have our own experiences, those of us who come to
this church. We have prayed to you with faith and love and we have been heard.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Oceans and Chains collapse
We live in constant trepidation for those that live in treacherous and unreliable seas, but You,
oh lovable Saint, that is victorious over the storms, calm the unrest, protect our loved ones that
go far in search of food and work; be their shining star that brings them back to us safe and
sound.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

That what is lost may be found
Unfortunately, many thousands and various illnesses disturb us, and many are afflicted and cry
because they are no longer able to earn enough to sustain their lives! O Saint Anthony who has
performed so many miracles, grant us the strength and health and to all of those faithful that run
to You. And also find all things that in any way are lost. Yes, hear us, O dear Saint, You who
are the hope and love of those who suffer.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Every age asks and receives
We know, our Saint Anthony, that all who run to You are heard, whether they are young or old,
rich or poor. And if this is so, then we also run to You too and we offer fervent prayers to you
that we also may be heard. Hear our prayers O miraculous Saint, dry our tears, calm our pain,
obtain for us the peace, providence and graces that we desire. No, do not allow us to leave
without giving us your sweet smile that courage and hope and from complete resignation to
You.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Fervent Prayer to Saint Anthony to obtain special graces
O my dearest Saint Anthony, O Consoler of the afflicted, with much anxiety I call on you for
help and I implore you to have pity on me, and especially to beg God for me this grace… a
grace I truly desire. I entrust myself entirely to You! And has it ever been possible that
invoking your name with true faith and with much hope that we will not obtain from You this
grace that we so desire? My dear Saint Anthony, I will come often with offerings in your honor
and I will always be your true devotee. So please obtain from me from Baby Jesus all that I
have with much faith entrusted to you and ask of you; yes, dear Saint, console me, comfort me,
hear me right away. Amen.
Thirteen Glory Be(s)

Prayer to be recited every Tuesday at the foot of the Saint.
O dear Saint Anthony, who lures the sweet fragrance of your divine charity and from the
reputation of the graces that you obtain for your devotees, here I am, to you I run because you
hear my prayers. You, O dear Saint, know all my needs, all of the needs of my soul to you are
known, but I came here, in front of your miraculous image, to repeat then with the most
profound cry of faith. My dear Saint, I find myself anxious in body and soul; so you most
loving and powerful Saint, obtain for me from Baby Jesus, who you affectionately hold in your
arms, those graces that I ask of you. I ask you for graces for me, for my family, give us the
providence, protect us from all present and future evils, and obtain for us health of soul and
body. Yes, O glorious Saint, you that in every part of the world are invoked as sower of
miracles and as powerful Miracle worker, give me the grace that I ask of you with all my soul
and faith. Please do this for me dear Saint and also make it so that I too may glorify your
extraordinary virtue and that I may be one of your most loyal and known devotees. Amen.

                                     Il Santo Rosario

Segno della croce: Nel nome del Padre del Figlio e dello Spirito Santo. Amen

Invocazione: O Dio vieni a salvarmi.
Signore vieni presto in mio aiuto.

Ponzio Pilato, fu crocefisso, morì e fu sepolto.
Amen.
