WEDNESDAY RUN//
By Helen Ball

DETECTIVES, DANGER AND THEATRICAL DRAMA
The May Mid week run was full of theses as the occupants of the 20 cars participating
retraced the steps of a secret assassin who was going to dispose of a visiting member of the
Royal Family.
Ladies disguised behind a moustache, hat and glasses, male passengers in hat and sunglasses
navigated their drivers through a maze of roads and streets and trying ( in all cases
unsuccessfully ) to solve a cryptic message.
The run was brilliantly put together by John Cocking and LeeAnn Freeman and finished
at Repertories Little Theatre where all was finally revealed in an entertaining way and the
villain identified. Many thanks to the organisers for something a wee bit outside the square
and loads of fun.

Hi All, the big news of the month was
the successful swap meet we have just
had, we learnt a lot from this first one,
think the last one we did was at Hastings
Racecourse 1992 or 1993. And we look
forward to another one next year, 1st May
2022. We had a lot of comments from the
stall holders saying they want to come

                                                 real squeeze, but everyone commented
how well it was set out and so tidy. We have
a lot of people coming back to look for
                                                 “treasures”.
A couple of years ago we had a gentleman
