WIDE RANGE of APPLICATIONS
Reduce hand labor and increase jobsite productivity with the Boxer 400 Series. The Boxer 400 Series is the
latest in a line of innovative mini-skid steers that have once again raised the bar in the compact utility loader
industry. Its rugged power, smooth controls, and agile maneuverability open the way for an expanded
array of attachments for a variety of industries and applications like: Landscaping, Rental, Construction,
Concrete Work, Irrigation, Fencing, Demolition, Golf Course Maintenance and Construction, Utility Work
and Municipalities to name a few. These machines provide the strength to perform a variety of tasks and the
versatility to get into tight areas.
BOTTOM LINE PRODUCTIVITY
With an operating capacity of up to 900 lbs. (408 kg), the Boxer 400 Series
boasts lifting capabilities at the top of the compact utility loader/mini-skid
class. The 400 Series is powered by a Tier III compliant, 27 hp (20.1 kW)
Kohler Command Pro air-cooled gas engine. The two-pump 3000 psi (207
Bar) hydraulic operating system develops 12.6 gpm (47.69 L/min) of hydraulic
flow to run the 400 Series’ auxiliary and propulsion functions. Combined, the
engine and hydraulic system give the 400 Series the muscle to handle full size
attachments like a 36” (91.4 cm) auger and 48” (121.9 cm) trencher. Bottom
line, the 400 Series offers the power needed to get a wide range of jobs done
quickly and cost-effectively.
WHEELS or TRACKS The 400 Series is now even more versatile with the introduction of the new 427. The 9” x 42” (22.9 x 106.7 cm) rubber tracks of the 427 are designed for optimum traction and flotation with minimal compaction. The 427 creates only 3.7 psi (.25 Bar) of ground pressure to help reduce damage to lawns and other established areas while supplying added traction on slopes and slippery surfaces. The wheeled Boxer 427W, provides increased maneuverability and is great for applications on paved or finished surfaces, such as driveways, parking lots, etc. where it can travel at up to 4.5 mph (7.2 kph) for reduced cycle times. SAFE and EASY OPERATION Operator safety is increased with 360-degree visibility of the work area. The 400 Series’ familiar skid steer-style operation and quick attach system enable the user to quickly and easily switch attachments for optimum productivity and bottom-line performance. The standard stand-on operator platform provides the highest level of comfort, increased sightlines and allows the operator easy on and off access to the operator station. The 400 Series’ width and ground clearance also provide added safety and stability while working on steeper grades. The hydraulic system also features a speed control system that can be implemented when using an attachment that requires high engagement speed and slower travel, such as a trencher.

SYSTEM TRAILER
To simplify operations for either the contractor in the field, or the busy rental store, Compact Power now offers its
ProHauler trailer, designed and equipped to accommodate the 427W or 427 and its attachments. The system trailer is
also a great starter package for those looking to purchase their first mini-skid system. This tool kit on wheels includes
built-in receptacles for a 44” (111.8 cm) standard bucket, a leveler that doubles as a carryall, adjustable forks, a 36” x 6”
(91.4 x 15.2 cm) trencher, an auger head with 9” (22.9 cm), 15” (38.1 cm) and 30” (76.2 cm) auger bits, and a multi-purpose
tool that includes a scarifier, tree carrier and ball hitch for towing trailers. On road or off, this single-axle trailer weighing less
than 6000 pounds (2722 kg) fully loaded can be pulled by a 1/2-ton (454 kg) pick-up truck. The trailer is designed such that
the operator can safely load or unload the 400 Series in either the forward direction or by backing up, with or without an
attachment in place.
