A manufacturer and designer of schoolwear, sportswear and corporate wear established in 1994, we are a NZ owned and
operated company located in the heart of Miramar, Wellington
We pride ourselves on customer relationship building and maintenance. We believe in sustainability and ethical principles by
making quality products that last, using carbon transport, such as sea freight, where possible and recognising the
importance of working conditions for both ourselves and our manufacturers. We annually audit our factories to ensure staff
well-being and safety.
With an in-house design team that can take any concept and turn it into reality, drawing up some pretty awesome concepts
from scratch or faithfully replicating what you already have for production. We are well equipped to assist with any ideas
that come to mind.

What Is Sublimation?
Sublimation is a method of applying a printed design to a garment. This involves a process using heat and pressure to transfer
the design from paper to the surface of the fabric, thus giving you total freedom over the design and colour of your gear
Why Go With Sublimation?
Sublimation is great for a number of reasons including the fact that it’s super versatile. This means you can have a design as
elaborate as you like and using any possible combination of colours
Sublimation also prints everything at once, including names, numbers and logo’s. This means you can add as much detail as
you like without affecting the overall cost or quality. Because the details are transferred as part of the complete design it keeps
the gear light, allowing your team to play at their best while looking their best
What Are The Benets Of Sublimation?
The main benefit of Sublimation is that design possibilities are virtually unlimited. From simple shapes and colours to blends,
shadows and photographic images. Because your design is now part of the fabric there’s no risk of cracking, fading or peeling.
Since every detail is part of one print this avoids having massive plastic numbers etc weighing the gear down
What Is The Process Of Producing My Design?
Here at Moana Clothing we always aim to produce the highest quality possible. In order to achieve this with Sublimation it is
essential that any images sent to us are high quality. Our team will assist you through the whole process from concepts,
physical samples and anything else you may need in order to produce the best for your team.
We can also copy and re-make existing designs to the smallest detail
The more detail you provide the better the final design will look!
Please be advised: due to the different colour resolutions computer monitors display, colours can vary from screen to screen.
The best way to avoid this is to use Pantone codes or sending us a physical sample of the colours you wish to use
