Key achievements to date until July 2020: Areas for further improvement and baseline evidence of need: Sustained use of “The Daily Mile” from Reception up to Year 6 Implement new PE curriculum to support staff with the planning and delivering of PE sessions Dedicated Sports Coach in post from September 2019 up until school closure; providing a range of pupil activities and developing staff subject knowledge in order Increase participation in inter and intra school competitions to enhance the delivery of the curriculum Continue and improve the use of Activall boards to increase children’s levels A wide range of afterschool clubs on offer in order to increase pupil uptake of physical activity Introduction of Activall boards during lunchtimes and break times Improve delivery of ‘ The Daily Mile’ to increase the amount of teacher led Using Beth Tweddle gymnastics as CPD for staff ( only one member due to COVID) activity a week and to develop children’s skills Meeting national curriculum requirements for swimming and water safety.
