The client, a semiconductor giant and long-standing Jade Global customer,
approached us to create a spinoff of their software business. We helped them
overcome the challenge of continuous changes in requirements during
implementation by modifying the solution on request. The result was an
improved overall business operation and increased efficiencies.

About the Client:
The client is an enterprise-class Digital Experience Management company, providing
visibility and control that power radical improvement in IT and business results. It is a
division of a leading semicon company that is focused on end user experience
management solutions that can be seamlessly deployed with the company’s solution
delivering secure optimized WAN and SD-WAN solutions for fortune 500 clients
globally.

Business Requirements: Spin-off
End-user Management
Recognizing that the division would perform better as a separate independent company
and anticipating future growth, the client engaged Jade Global to coordinate the
spin-off of its business division to create a new company.

The project included transferring current service contracts, professional services
projects, and associated deferred revenue into the division’s systems of current product
base and creating new systems for a selected product base. The division needed to be
set up as a growth company with state-of-the-art cloud-based systems that could scale.
We also converted their existing quote data into CPQ quotes & contracts and managed
user training manual development.

Their Business Requirements were:

         Spinoff end-user experience management SaaS solution Operations of the
         client and create new systems for the Division/Sister company

         The company’s division was to be set up as a growth company with
         state-of-the-art cloud-based systems that can scale

Current service contracts and professional services projects and associated
         deferred revenue needed to be transferred into the division’s systems for the
         selected product base

         A new corporation division to be built to operate globally across North America,

Business Challenges
The business had to be split off as a new technology company and be ready to do
business as a self-standing entity on the 1st day of next fiscal year. With the new
company having to be ready for business in less than 3 months, immaculate planning
and coordination between the software split & migration team and business users
was necessary.

         Product feature selection was a herculean task

         Challenging timeline of less than 3 months to split the system and have new
         company ready for business from the 1st day of the new fiscal year

         Continuously changing requirements from business users resulted in tight
         delivery timelines

         Additional customizations needed to be implemented to support professional
         services business – internal and external.

         The division required its data and processes to be implemented in a Gold copy
         environment prior to production

The Solution – NetSuite Implementation
for Idaptive integrated with Salesforce,
Celigo
Given Jade Global’s extensive experience and thorough understanding of the properties
of the the semiconductor business processes, we were able to rapidly deliver the gold
copy environment within. With this early success and timely delivery, the confidence of
our leadership & customers was established. This helped us in delivering all features on
time - enabling 100% functionality in a controlled manner to prevent any “surprise”
functionality or showstopper bugs at go-live.

The customer needed a net new operational system and customer portal to support
the spinoff. Apttus CPQ was implemented and Salesforce as a foundation Sales cloud,
Service cloud and Communities. NetSuite ERP was implemented as it offered
functionality and native support for SaaS, Boomi iPaaS was used to integrate Salesforce
to NetSuite.

The Solution
         Implemented Salesforce: Sales cloud, Service cloud and Communities

         Worked closely with the Apttus professional services team to deliver Apttus CPQ

         Worked with NetSuite partner to implement Salesforce to NetSuite integrations
         using Boomi iPaaS

         Migrated open transactions, contracts and professional services projects and
         associated data to NetSuite

         Migrated revenue recognition/RevPro data into NetSuite ARM

         Program managed Salesforce/Data migration/Integration/Customer Portal work
         streams
