MEET THE TEAM THOM SHEA (Ret.) Navy SEAL, Distinguished Combat Veteran, Bestselling Author, Leadership Coach Retired Navy SEAL Thom Shea served with the U.S. Navy for 23 years with distinguished valor before writing his bestselling book, “Unbreakable: A Navy Seal’s Way of Life” and his latest release, “Three Simple Things: Leading During Chaos.” As founder of Unbreakable Leadership, Thom has trained thousands of people around the world to overcome chaos by applying the rule of Three Simple Things to their lives and businesses. Thom developed his leadership process and methods during his military career where he served in three wars, ultimately leading a team of SEALs into Afghanistan in 2009. There he earned a Silver Star, Bronze Star with Valor, Army Commendation with Valor and his second Combat Action Medal. He was later hand-selected to serve as Officer In Charge of the famed SEAL Sniper course. In his downtime, Thom competes in Thom Shea is the numerous ultra marathons and alongside only SEAL in history his wife Stacy has volunteered countless hours to charity, raising funds through his to endure infamous athletic events for organizations like “Hell Week” FIVE Special Operations Warrior Foundation times, after being and the Chris Kyle Memorial Trust. BRIAN “TOSH” CHONTOSH (Ret.) USMC Major, Navy Cross Recipient, Founder of Crooked Butterfly Ranch and the Big Fish Foundation Brian “Tosh” Chontosh is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served for over 20 years, ultimately being awarded the prestigious Navy Cross for extraordinary heroism, two Bronze Stars with Valor, the Meritorious Service Medal, and multiple combat action ribbons and personal awards. His unit’s 2004 assault into Fallujah was the focus of the Fox News documentary Breaking Point: Company of Heroes. Tosh founded Crooked Butterfly Ranch where he designs custom experiential learning opportunities for clients looking to test their minds, bodies, and spirits. He also designs leadership workshops that challenge everyday paradigms that can limit potential. On the Crooked Butterfly Podcast, you can hear Tosh’s intimate and self reflective perspective on everyday life. During his ‘downtime’ Tosh competes in some of the world’s most challenging ultra endurance events. To highlight a few: Moab 240, Tahoe 200, Primal Quest, Arrowhead 135, Iceland Fire & Ice, AR World Championships XPD, GodZone, and the 24H Isolation Challenge. He’s also mountain-biked Tosh is a current the Continental Divide from Canada to Mexico in nominee for the 27 days. DAN CERRILLO (Ret.) Navy SEAL, Combat Veteran, Chief of Staff at American Addiction Centers Dan Cerrillo served as a Navy SEAL with multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. After leaving the Navy Dan was selected as one of the founding members of Paul Allen’s Executive Protection Team. During his tenure at Vulcan Inc. he founded CrossFit Bellevue, the largest most equipped CrossFit Training Center on the West Coast as well as Lake Hills CrossFit, CrossFit Inter-bay, and CrossFit Ad Alta. Dan now serves on the Board of Directors for the Navy SEAL Fund and is the Washington State Ambassador for the Navy SEAL Foundation. He is also one of the founding members of Global Support and Development, a privately funded humanitarian outreach team. From 2008 - 2016 Dan served as the Director of Training for SEALFit.com and helped expand and develop the 50-hour Endurance Event Kokoro, SOF Immersion Academy and Turning Steel. Dan is also an accomplished high school football strength and conditioning coach where until 2016 he was part of the Bellevue Wolverine Coaching Staff and won an unprecedented 13-state championships and 2013 National Championship. Dan now coaches at Cedar Park Christian with the same coaching staff and is once again building a championship team which won the first Conference Championship in school history.
