SAFEGUARDING: Specialist team from event and local authorit y working toge ther to protec t children from harm FIRE: No call out to local ser vice s. Event fire team working closely with local fire ser vice. WATER: Increased drinking water points across site, reduc tion in single use plastic water bottle s NOISE: Team of acoustic consultants working with Cornwall Council, 24hr phoneline for public, minimal complaints.

C arpark was clear by 12 :30p.m. 4 hours earlier than 2017 minimizing C lose collaboration be t ween shuttle bus and train operation at impac t on local area. Newquay station. Economic Benefit £44.8M total economic impac t on Cornwall This is £34.9M of consumer spend and £9.9M of business and associated spend Boardmasters contrac ts over £1.5M directly with Cornish suppliers The event create s more than 440 full time jobs in Cornwall 78% of Boardmasters attendee s said the event was their main reason for visiting Cornwall 77% of the Boardmasters audience also visited Newquay town centre
