Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time June 13, 2021 Recent Baptisms August Lee Noser Son of James & Katie Noser Jackson Alexander Williams Son of Ryan & Rachel Williams III Kim Becvar & Andrew Specht Juneteenth, the day that marks the end of slavery, is this coming Saturday, June 19th. It is important that all Americans understand the significance of this day. We celebrate Juneteenth as a critical moment in the Afri- can-American struggle for freedom from slavery as well as the enduring structures of racism in a country that at PSR First Communion Class times seems intent on forgetting its sins. We encourage May 15, 2021 all Catholics to learn about Juneteenth and to make it a Celia Ahillen, Trace Bodine, Brooke Bucheit, Ana- moment of action against the persisting realities of ra- belle Devine, Alana Devine, Ava Eyre, Harper cism. SHF Men’s White House Retreat The SHF annual Men's White House Retreat is from Thursday evening, June 24th to Lunch on Sunday, June 27th. The number of slots for our parish has been reduced to 15 from 30, due to reduced allocations for Covid safety. White House has been operating retreats with socially distanced formats for almost a year now without incident. Chapel distancing and meal procedures have been modified. Those interested in joining us this year should contact Mike Panneri ASAP at 849-5557. Once we are 45 days from the start of the retreat, any un- filled spots will be opened up to the other parishes that join us on retreat. White House, sitting high on the bluffs of the Mississippi River in South County, is a great place to reflect, pray and just rest a while. New Rectory Hours The Rectory will be open from 8am to 3pm, Monday through Thursday, Friday from 8am to Noon.
