DECK REFURBISHMENT What an exciting year ahead for the GDSC! After our soft refurb last year and a bowling green upgrade we now focus on phase two of the new look GDSC which will begin in May. The theme we have created throughout the club will continue into our auditorium with the very exciting addition of some windows along Mary Street to allow the natural light in. The position of the stage will also move to near the old entry doors to create a better entertainment space and prepare us for the larger auditorium extension in phase three. Perhaps the most exciting change will be the extension of our deck. This area will go beyond the existing greens shed and include toilets, a new kids area, a pop up kitchen, new BBQ facilities, a small family seating area as well as the ability to close the space and have it air conditioned. This will be a very popular space with the ability to support functions and weddings up to 150 seated and 250 standing depending on restrictions. See above artist impressions of the area. More information will be provided closer to commencement. www.gdsc.com.au 11
