Memorial Mass for Fr. Vincent Capodanno On August 28th, 2021, the St. Jude Parish Knights of Co- lumbus will be sponsoring a memorial Mass in honor of Father Vincent Capodanno. Father Capodanno was a Maryknoll missionary who served as a chaplain with the 1st Marine Division in Vietnam. He was killed ministering to his Marines on September 4, 1968, and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his gallantry. Father Capodanno's cause for sainthood is being considered in Rome.
