RADNOR HIGH SCHOOL 2022 Summer School Information Flyer June 23rd – August 5th Special Note! Seats for summer school courses are limited! Classes have a cap of eighteen (18) students. Once eighteen (18) students are enrolled, we will start a wait list. Students are removed from the wait list when a student unenrolls from the program. Students taken off the wait list are chosen by the date that the student’s application was received. In addition, we will run hybrid model for summer school. Students can enroll for in-person or remote instruction but must commit to one placement or the other at the beginning of the course. The midterm and final exam must be taken in-person regardless of placement.
2022 RHS Summer School General Information Purpose Radnor High School’s Summer School program provides students the opportunity to enrich and accelerate their learning, as well as give students a chance to recover credits in courses they failed during the regular school year. Location Radnor High School, 130 King of Prussia Road, Radnor, PA 19087 Dates Begins Thursday, June 23rd and ends on Friday, August 5th, 2022 Session times June 23rd through August 5th, 2022 Morning sessions will meet on these dates from 7:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Tutoring is available after class each day and is included in the price of tuition. Instruction Tutoring 7:45 AM – 11:45 AM 11:45 AM – 12:15 PM Eligibility Radnor High School Summer School classes are open to students who are rising 9th graders and beyond. Summer school is not open to students who have graduated. Radnor residents who do not attend Radnor Township School District public schools must show proof of residency when registering to be eligible for resident tuition. Attendance/Lateness Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and arrive on time. Students who miss a session for any reason are considered absent. No credit will be given for a course if a student is absent for more than two days. Students who are late to school will have their lateness count towards days absent. If a student exceeds the absence limit, they will be withdrawn and a WD will be placed on their transcript. No refunds will be given to students who are withdrawn due to attendance issues. 2022 RHS Summer School Registration Information Registration In-person registration will be held in the Main Office of Radnor High School from January 28th – June 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No registration will be allowed after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17th. Payment and fees All payment is due in full at registration. Payment is by personal check, cashier’s check or money order. All checks should be made out to “RTSD” with the student’s first and last name in the memo. If your check is returned for insufficient funds, you will be liable for a processing fee in the amount of $30.00. The tuition cost for a 1.0 credit course is as follows: Free & Radnor Non- Reduced Refundable Residents residents Residents Only refunded if class Registration $50.00 $50.00 $50.00 is cancelled due to fee low enrollment. Tuition waiver Residents of the Radnor Township School District who are eligible for free and reduced lunch will pay the $50 registration fee only. Students must have applied and been accepted to the Free and Reduced Lunch Program prior to May 1, 2022 to be considered eligible. This is not available to non-RTSD residents. Refunds Course tuition and registration fees will be refunded if the course is cancelled. Only the tuition will be refunded if the course runs and the refund is requested prior to June 20th. No refunds will be given after 3:00 PM on June 20th. Please note it will take up to 4-6 weeks to process refund checks.
