FAIRVIEW SCHOOL February 2021 Winter Break: February 15 to February 19 Monday, February 22 will be a day 6. From Mr. Boss’ Desk: We are officially halfway through the year. It seems like only yesterday we were preparing the for arrival of the students in August. This year, more than any other before, we have focused on safety protocols and procedures. At this point in the year, students are used to physical distancing, wearing masks, handwashing, and sanitizing. Although we can see a small light at the end of this long tunnel, we still need to be vigilant. Our students have done a wonderful job following these protocols and I am very proud of their flexibility and positive attitudes. Through these cold winter months, we have maintained our focus on learning. Our emphasis continues to be on reading and writing. Where possible we have students working in small groups settings to catch up on any learn- ing that may have been missed due to Covid-19 and any time spent away from school. We certainly appreciate the additional work that you are doing at home. We recognize that this has been a challenge for everyone! Once again, thank you for your continued support as we work our way through this pandemic. Take care and stay safe!
