**Attention Quinnipiac District Scouters** Please join us as we salute the Scouting volunteers of the Quinnipiac District and celebrate our JTE Gold achievement. You won’t want to miss this event as we recognize Scouters at the unit and district levels! Where: The Pavilion at Ashlar Village, 100 Winding Bridge Road, Wallingford When: Wednesday, Sept. 22, arrival starting at 6:30, dinner and program starting at 7:00 pm Please plan on joining us to recognize and thank the recipients of the District Award of Merit, the highest honor bestowed upon a volunteer for service to youth done at the district level. 2020 District Award of Merit Recipients: Adam Gerstein, Kennard Hudson & Diane Lillquist 2021 District Award of Merit Recipients: Evan McGloin & Joseph Ushchak OUR VOLUNTEERS ARE OUR MOST IMPORTANT RESOURCE. Scouts BSA Troops *arrive Friday 10/15-stay in cedars *run program for 5th grade AOL scouts *facilitate Saturday night campfire program *participate in interfaith service Sunday
Cub Scouts-AOL *arrive Saturday 10/16 at 8:00 am-stay in pines *all meals provided *will interact with troops all day to work on two adventures: scouting and outdoor adventurer *participate in interfaith service Sunday
Cub Scouts-Webelos *arrive Saturday 10/16 at 8:00 am-stay in pines *all meals provided *will complete these adventures: Cast Iron Chef, First Responder, Webelos Walkabout, *participate in interfaith service Sunday
Cub Scouts *all need to be accompanied by an adult *Lunch Saturday and breakfast Sunday provided, Saturday either scouts or units will cook dinner in their campsites * $30 per Cub Scout and $15 per parent *more details to come in parent/leader guide *REGISTRATION AVAILABLE 9/15/21

Fall 2021 I.O.L.S. Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills Working as patrols, this hands-on course provides adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. October 8-9, 2021 Deer Lake Scout Reservation Course starts promptly at 7:00 p.m Friday and concludes around dinnertime Saturday. Check in and set up begins at 5PM Friday night.
