Home on Wheels DAY 1 Your day will start by picking up your RV in Mirabel, Quebec just outside of Montreal. You and your crew will be assigned an RV and will be given a brief orientation on how to operate your home on wheels and its many awesome features. Next, you hit the road! Destination - Quebec City. Upon arrival, we will let you settle at your campground and enjoy dinner in the company of your crew. Exploring Quebec City DAY 2 Bonjour et bienvenue! After a delicious breakfast in your luxurious home on wheels, you’ll head out for the day to explore one of the oldest cities in North America, the gorgeous and historic Quebec City. Prepare to be amazed by the unique European architecture and the lively French-Canadian culture. You’ll kick off the day with a walking tour led by a local resident that knows the inner streets and hidden secrets. In the afternoon you’ll have the option to explore the city’s charm by bicycle along the St Lawrence River or enjoy lunch on the cobblestone streets of Old Quebec City. By evening time, it’ll feel like you left the country, dining on local Quebecois cuisine and tapping your feet to the traditional sounds of French-Canadian folkloric music, Rigodon! Ride the Coast DAY 3 Get your favourite car jams ready for one of the most gorgeous rides of your lifetime. You will cruise Eastwards along the mountainous coast of the St Lawrence River, with views that will make you want to stop and meditate. Approaching the village of Tadoussac, your RV will be transported across the river by a water ferry, delivering you to your next destination. Upon arrival, you will spend the afternoon admiring a hidden gem called Les Dunes - beautiful sand dunes overlooking the massive body of water. Activities Ferry Ride Les Dunes
Whale Country DAY 4 If you’ve never seen a whale in real life, this is your chance to meet these majestic creatures. The historic village of Tadoussac is located at the mouth of the Saguenay and St. Lawrence Rivers, where sweet and salty waters intersect; making it a whale watcher’s paradise. The whale watching excursion lasts 2.5 hours and the species that can be spotted are mainly blue, minke, humpback, and beluga whales. Activities Whale Watching Excursion
Saguenay Fjords National Park DAY 5 Next, our caravan heads west towards the interior of the province. En route we will make a pit stop in the city of Chicoutimi to refill on some essentials, and make our way to one of Quebec’s most impressive natural wonders. Among the many treasures you will find on this journey, without a doubt Les Fjords du Saguenay is the region’s main attraction. Upon arrival to the Saguenay Fjords National Park, we will hop into our sea kayaks and embark on a breathtaking excursion, gliding between high cliffs as the sun sets over the water. Via Ferrata DAY 6 Today is dedicated to hiking the astounding mountains of the Saguenay Fjords National Park. For those looking for the ultimate rush, you will embark on the famous Via Ferrata (Italian for “iron path”); a protected climbing route, built with a steel cable rail fixed to the rock, metal steps, ladders, suspension bridges and zip wires. With an experienced and licensed guide, your group will climb the rocky bluffs all the way to the top of the Baie Éternité, witnessing the most spectacular aerial scenic vistas of the fjords. If you’re looking for less intensity, you will spend the day on the many beautiful hiking trails that will lead you up to some of the fjord’s most unique views. Charlevoix Flavour Trail DAY 7 Time to follow our taste buds! We now make our way south to the gastronomic region of the province called Charlevoix. The region prides itself for its traditionally crafted ciders and beers, meticulously pickled mushrooms, prize-winning cheeses and dazzling wines; all made locally and organically. Our day will start with a tour of a local fromagerie (cheese farm) where you will learn about and sample some of Canada’s most premium cheeses. Next we will visit the world’s first ever tomato winery. Yes, that’s right, that’s wine made from tomatoes. Lastly, we will finish the day in the cutest town of Baie St-Paul known for its art galleries, artisan shops, and delicious restaurants. The Shrine of St Anne DAY 8 Heading back towards Montreal, we make one more stop to admire the famous Sanctuaire Sainte-Anne- de-Beaupré. The basilica is one of five national shrines in Canada, receiving over half a million pilgrims every year. The architecture and sheer size of the church will amaze you. Until the next Tryp… DAY 9 Today we pack our bags and say our final farewells. We head back home feeling energized and fulfilled, with memories and friendships that will live on.
