URGENT NOTICE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS: PUBLICATIONS
OFFICE’S RELOCATION HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED.
Please be advised that the GPW Publications office will no longer move to 88
Visagie Street as indicated in the previous notices.
The move has been suspended due to the fact that the new building in 88 Visagie
Street is not ready for occupation yet.
We will later on issue another notice informing you of the new date of relocation.
We are doing everything possible to ensure that our service to you is not
disrupted.
As things stand, we will continue providing you with our normal service from the
current location at 196 Paul Kruger Street, Masada building.

GAUTENG GAMBLING ACT, 1995 (as amended)
APPLICATION FOR AN AMENDMENT OF A LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that Phumelela Gaming and Leisure Limited t/a TAB of No 14 Turf Club Street,
Turffontein, 2190 intend submitting an application to the Gauteng Gambling Board for an amendment
of license for the following sites:
1. Shop 1, Ground floor, 6 West Street, Kempton Park
2. Unit C and D, 11 Frank Road, Boksburg
3. 22 Newmarket Park, Ext 3, Alberton
4. Shop 7, Upper Level Daxina Centre, cnr Starling and Patrea Street, Lenasia South
5. Shops 34 and 34A Lenz Station Mall, Lenasia Avenue, Lenasia
6. Shops 0001 & 0002 Schoepaul, 294 Paul Kruger Street, Pretoria
7. 107 Hasting's Avenue, Brakpan
8. Shops TGF2 and TFF7, Black Chain Mall, Diepkloof, Soweto
9. Shops 13-18 Newtown Mall, 77 Harrison Street, Johannesburg
10. Shop 29 Rand Value Centre, 36 Rand Road, Germiston
The purpose of this application is to obtain the licences and operate a Totalisator Agency at the
abovementioned premises in Gauteng Province. The proposed Agent is Hollywood Sportsbook
Gauteng (Pty) Ltd t/a Hollywoodbets and represented by Owen Brian Heffer.
Applications will be open to public inspection at the offices of the Board from 21 February 2020.
Attention is directed to the provisions of Section 20 of the Gauteng Gambling Act No 4 of 1995 (as
amended) which makes provision for the lodging of written representations in respect of the application.
Written representations should be lodged with the Chief Executive Officer, Gauteng Gambling Board,
Private Bag 15, Bramley, 2018 or 125 Corlett Drive, Bramley, Johannesburg within one month from 21
February 2020.
Such representations shall contain at least the following information:
(a) The name of the applicant to which representations relate
(b) The ground or grounds on which representations are made
(c) The name, address, telephone, email or fax number of the person submitting the
representations.
(d) Whether the person submitting the representations requests the board to determine that such
person’s identity may not be divulged and the grounds for such request; and
(e) Whether or not they wish to make oral representations at the hearing of the application.
