For several years now the Premium Day has been an opportunity one can’t afford
to miss in order to catch up on the latest innovations and trends of the world of
dentistry, and the location chosen for this special edition is Palma de Mallorca, a
marvel in the Mediterranean, merging art, beauty and tradition.
This congress focuses on soft tissues and the crucial role played by their proper
management for the success of the entire oral implantoprosthetic rehabilitation.
It is a topic of great importance calling for outstanding, experienced and first-
class speakers: Xavier Rodríguez Ciurana, Ignazio Loi, Xavier Vela Nebot, Giovanni
Zucchelli will therefore take turns on stage at the Palacio de Congresos, to involve
the audience in what is by now universally known as the Convergent Revolution,
with biological, histological and clinical reasoning on the advantages of this type
of morphology when in contact with soft tissues. Whether it is a natural tooth,
an implant neck or a prosthetic component, thanks to convergent geometry the
connective tissue gradually thickens facilitating the regeneration of soft tissues
which, besides supporting bones, will also contribute to the overall healthy and
natural aesthetic appearance of the rehabilitation.

Xavier Rodríguez Ciurana
Degree in Medicine and specialization in oral and maxillofacial
surgery, University of Barcelona. PhD in Medicine and Surgery.
Private dental practitioner in Barcelona and Madrid. Visiting
lecturer at the University of Madrid. Co-founder and member of
the BORG Centre. Author of several articles on aesthetics and
on multidisciplinary oral rehabilitation.
Xavier Vela Nebot
Degree in Medicine and Dentistry, University of Barcelona.
Private dental practitioner in Barcelona focusing exclusively
on implantology and prosthetics. Speaker in several national
and international conferences. Co-founder and member of
Borg. Author of several articles on national and international
journals.
Giovanni Zucchelli
Degree in Dentistry and Prosthodontics. PhD in Medical
Biotechnology. Lecturer in Periodontology and Implantology at
the University of Bologna. Author of more than 100 publications
on periodontics. Winner of prizes for scientific research in
periodontics in Italy, Europe and the United States. Speaker at
the most important national and international Periodontology
and Implantology Congresses.
