Perfect Weather For Our 2021 Spring Drive Submitted by Dave Kirkman Sunny day and temperatures in the low 70’s. Nothing better for a spring drive on Beverly and I were delighted to see a nice collection of Jaguars parked in front of narrow twisty back roads in a Jaguar; especially one that winds up at a DQ for ice the Olive Garden when we arrived shortly after 11:00 am. Bob and Linda Ray, Tom cream! and Marie Clearman (a special award to the Clearman’s for attending this event as Marie’s knee was in a cast from a ski accident), David Singleton and Ena Hammond, John and Judy Hoffman, Peter and Janell Helman, Tom and Midge Gose, and Brian Black and his guest all joined us for brunch before the drive. It was obvious we were all just glad to be among friends again after a long year of being shut-ins. Patti Fox, Bill and Jane Flavelle and Laly Davis passed on the brunch and met us shortly after noon for the drive. We even had a surprise visit for club President John Yates before we set out. The traffic was light as we wound our way along the tree lined streets around Canton and out into the beautiful green countryside and the previously mentioned narrow twisty roads that eventually lead us back to the DQ in Riverstone Village where we all enjoyed ice cream and swapped more stories before heading home. A perfect Jaguar day; beautiful cars and good friends. What is the Coventry Foundation and what does that mean to you?
