9/22/2021 TELL OUR STORY MY TITLE • Expand the public awareness campaign started in 2020 to communicate with target audiences describing who we are, the value we bring, and the opportunities the industry provides. • Maintain and enhance relationships and STORYTELLER understanding of our industry with partners, relevant agencies and policymakers focused on federal real estate and housing policy. • Utilize resources to better connect our entire membership to power grassroots support for our advocacy efforts. 9/22/2021 GOOD DEEDS GROW COMMUNITIES The ALTA Good Deeds Foundation provides charitable grants to 501(c)(3) organizations supported by ALTA members. Grants are awarded to local organizations through a competitive application process completed by an ALTA member, highlighting how the member is furthering our values through charitable activity Helping those with housing needs as well as individuals adversely impacted by national emergencies such as the current Covid-19 pandemic. Over 500 donations raised at inception - double the initial goal. Guided by the title industry’s values of We Lead, We Deliver, We Protect. PROTECT OUR CUSTOMERS’ PRIVACY AND INVESTMENT Promote awareness of closing scams and other real estate fraud to the general public. Educate members about both cyber and physical MY TITLE GUARDIAN environment security threats to their businesses and impact of, and compliance with, comprehensive state laws related to data privacy. Promote best practices, industry principles and tools for compliance to industry stakeholders. Collaborate with industry partners on advocacy efforts, including at the federal level. 5
9/22/2021 PROMOTE DIGITAL CLOSINGS Developing tools, awareness, and education on the nuances of digital closing MY TITLE INNOVATOR Develop tools and education to help members add digital closing options to their business. Advocate for federal, state and local regulatory and legislative improvements to meet industry needs for implementation of digital closings. Collaborating with industry stakeholders on digital closing adoption, including MBA, MISMO and GSEs PROMOTE DIGITAL CLOSINGS Today there are 8,402 Locations in the Registry MY TITLE INNOVATOR Launched in May 2020 in response to the pandemic there are 1,533 “RON Ready” locations listed in the ALTA Registry 7
