2018’S THEME Rediscovering Culture Culture is the sum of how we collectively live as a community together. It embraces our heritage, values, habits and lifestyle. Coming from our influences and colourful diversity.
2018’S THEME Rediscovering Culture Aim: Rediscovering Culture ‘Tuklas Kultura’ aims to rediscover our senses through paintings, photos, prints, videos and songs. Objective: To rediscover how Malaysians have lived and are living together, to further empower us all together, as a stronger community in the years to come.

JUDGING CRITERIA T&C Size: 36x 36 inches (3ft) – 48 x 48 inches (4ft) Weight: Up to 10-15kg only Medium: Open (Acrylics, collage, ink, mixed media, etc) * Refrain from using perishable materials * Digital illustration is discouraged All entries must be original and produced by contestant They MUST NOT have been previously exhibited or awarded a prize in another contest

JUDGING CRITERIA T&C Size: 16 x 24 inches (16RW) Entrants must declare the type of camera and filter used Ensure image is in high resolution and the file size must be < 5MB All entries must be original and produced by contestant The Entry photo must not be manipulated in any post production activity, however minor production is allowed
JUDGING CRITERIA T&C They MUST NOT have been previously exhibited or awarded a prize in another contest The image captured shall not appear provoking sensitivity of certain groups/community Consent letter is required if a subject appearing in the photo is under the age of 18

JUDGING CRITERIA T&C Video length: Min 3 mins and max 8 mins Resolution: 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720 in wmv/mpeg/mp4 format Open to individual student or group (max of 3) from the same university/college Video can be staged as short film only. Animation with storyline is is accepted Students must use original scoring or royalty-free music & handle all permits / related matter
JUDGING CRITERIA T&C Usage of free music, clips, etc. need to be credited at the end of the video.The source(link) must be submitted online as well All videos must not have been shown in any medium/online site Consent letter is required if a subject appearing in the photo is under the age of 18 The video shall not use improper or to appear provoking sensitivity of certain groups/community words in either script or acts

JUDGING CRITERIA T&C Music duration: Min 3 mins and max 5 mins Open to individual student or group (max of 3), from the same university/college Music composition must be saved in MP4 version and PDF format manuscripts of the composition Each entry must be an original composition of the contestant/s and all rights of copyright to the entry must be owned exclusively by the participant/s
JUDGING CRITERIA T&C The lyrics must be according to the theme, and is open to all languages with translated transcript in English or Malay The lyrics shall not use improper words or to appear provoking sensitivity of certain groups/community
