A FATHER’S DAY TRADITION!
Ribfest 2019 will be our 15th anniversary! Niagara Falls Rotary Ribfest was started by
the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise in 2005. Over the past 15 years, the event has
raised over $450,000 for local and international organizations and projects.
Ribfest is a community-based food, entertainment and family-friendly event that
hosts approximately 20,000 visitors over 3 days. The Niagara Falls Rotary Ribfest
features:
• 5 world class Ribbers anxious to serve up their award winning fare
• Specialty food vendors serving up delicious compliments and alternatives to
ribs like bloomin’ onion, poutine, fresh squeezed lemonade and funnel cake
• A shopping experience featuring talented and unique merchandise vendors
providing opportunities to pick up some great items and deals
• 26 hours of locally-influenced entertainment over the 3-day event. Big name
bands like Vinyl Flux, Jessica Wilson Band, and Fanzzango will inspire singing,
dancing and toe tapping fun
• Our Beer & Wine Garden featuring local wines and popular beers along with
tasty coolers will be among this years selections
• A Kids Extravaganza featuring entertainment ensuring the kids have a great
time too
• With Niagara Parks being our host for Niagara Falls Rotary Ribfest, we have the
magnificence of the Falls and the Falls Fireworks Series on Friday and Saturday
evening at 10 pm

HOW WE MARKET RIBFEST
In 2018, more than 20,000 people came out to celebrate Father’s Day, enjoy
live entertainment and fill up on delicious ribs and local foods. The Niagara
Falls Rotary Ribfest works hard to secure advertising sponsorships and
supports, allowing the event to secure more than $80,000 in advertising and
media value. Our marketing and communications activities include high
traffic area billboards, extensive radio, newsprint, social media, signage, and
distribution of print material (posters, flyers etc.).

Your sponsorship of the Niagara Falls Rotary Ribfest will demonstrate that you are a great
community partner! Your sponsorship also benefits our Niagara community by supporting
the production of this family-friendly weekend, full of great entertainment and food. It
offers our community a chance to socialize with their neighbours, take in the prestigious
location of Niagara Parks Rapidsview Park, and best of all, celebrate dads. Volunteers
spend over 400 hours designing, managing, marketing and implementing this event.

The Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise was
charted in 1990 and has been giving back to the
community of Niagara Falls ever since. Over the
past 28 years, our club is proud to have given back
over $1.5 million dollars to local and international
projects and organizations. With 38 active
members, other fundraising activities we
participate in include the TV Auction and Catch Community – 60%
the Ace. Youth & vocational – 23%
International - 17%
