“As a small nonprofit organization based in a rural Member Spotlight: community, there are limited resources to increase Unity Family the capacity of the organization. To increase our capacity to sustain our programs, UFCC became a member of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence. Since our membership with the foundation, our capacity has increased tremendously from the various trainings and one-on-one technical assistance. UFCC has enhanced its skills and knowledge in fundraising efforts, board director’s roles and responsibilities, professional development and social media. The value of learning how to properly network to strengthened volunteers and partnerships with other organizations has been extremely important to the growth of our organization.” -Joyce Wilson, Director education resources connection
