ELECTION NIGHT REPORTING

      Unofficial results will be available after all ballots have been tabulated on April 28th
           o Every ballot postmarked by April 27th and received by May 8th will be counted
           o All ballots already submitted by mail or in‐person will be counted
      Per Secretary of State Directive, there will only be one results upload made on Election Night.
           o This upload will occur after all ballots received by the Board of Elections have been tabulated.

POST‐ELECTION CURE PERIOD

      In order to allow voters to cure a deficiency on an absentee or provisional ballot, as provided for in state
       law, the Board of Elections will be open to the public on each of the seven calendar days immediately
       following the last day of voting during the hours specified below.
            o Wednesday, April 29th 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
            o Thursday, April 30th 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
            o Friday, May 1st 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
            o Saturday, May 2nd 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
            o Sunday, May 3rd 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
            o Monday, May 4th 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
            o Tuesday, May 5th 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

VOTE BY MAIL

      During the 10 days following Election Day, the Board of Elections may receive vote by mail ballots that
       can be accepted and counted if the return envelopes are postmarked by the Monday before the Election
       Day.
      If you are a voter outside the U.S. on Election Day, your ballot envelope must be submitted for mailing
       not later than 12:01 a.m. on Election Day and received by not later than the 10 days after an election.

   Valid ballots returned during the 10 days following Election Day will be tabulated during the official
       count and included in the final official certification of the election.
      The Board of Elections website will provide updates by municipality indicating the quantity of valid vote
       by mail ballots received during the 10 days following Election Day, as well as the number of ballots not
       returned.

PROVISIONAL BALLOTS

      The Board of Elections website will provide updates by municipality indicating the quantity of
       provisional ballots cast during the election.
      During the 10 days following Election Day, the Board of Elections reviews provisional ballot envelopes
       containing provisional ballots cast during the election to confirm:

                   o   the voter is registered and eligible to vote;
                   o   the required information on the envelope has been completed;
                   o   the voter did not cast an Absentee Ballot; and
                   o   the voter did not cast a ballot on Election Day in the precinct of their previous address.

      On May 11, 2020, the Board will meet to determine the validity of all provisional ballots and review any
       provisional ballots recommended by the Board of Elections staff.
      All valid provisional voter envelopes will be opened and the ballots reviewed to ensure the voter cast a
       ballot in the correct precinct. Invalid provisional voter envelopes will remain sealed.
      Valid provisional ballots will be tabulated during the official count and included in the final official
       certification of the election.

CERTIFICATION OF THE ELECTION

      The Board of Elections will release the Official Results at its certification meeting on May 19, 2020.

RECOUNTS

      Automatic recounts will be announced at the May 19, 2020 certification meeting and will also be posted
       to the Board of Elections website.
      Requested recounts will be posted to the Board of Elections website after they are filed.
      If there is a recount, notice will be provided via certified mail to each person for whom votes were cast
       in the election that is the subject of the recount. For question or issue elections, notice will be provided
       to the chairperson of the group of electors that applied for the recount and/or the taxing authority or
       petitioners that submitted the question or issue.
      All recounts are conducted in accordance to Ohio Revised Code Chapter 3515 and Ohio Secretary of
       State Directive Recount Procedures.

HOW TO REQUEST A RECOUNT

      Written applications for requested recounts can be filed with the Candidate & Petition Services
       Department, located on the second (2nd) floor of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections Main Building,
       located at 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.

   Written applications must list the precinct(s) to be recounted and be accompanied by a $60 deposit for
       each precinct to be recounted. Acceptable payment includes: currency, bank money order, bank
       cashier’s check, or certified check.
      Written applications cannot be accepted until after the election has been certified by the Board.
      Written applications must be received by May 26, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. and must include the proper
       deposit.

REPORTES EN LA NOCHE DE LA ELECCIÓN

      Los resultados no‐oficiales estarán disponibles luego de que todas las papeletas sean tabuladas el 28 de
       abril.
           o Cada papeleta matasellada para el 27 de abril y recibida para el 8 de mayo serán contadas.
           o Se contarán todas las papeletas que ya se hayan enviado por correo o en persona.
      Según la Directiva del Secretario de Estado, se publicarán resultados una sola vez en la Noche de
       Elecciones.
           o Esta publicación ocurrirá después de que todas las papeletas recibidas por la Junta Electoral
               sean tabuladas.

PERIODO DE CURACIÓN POST ELECTORAL

      Con el fin de permitir a los votantes curar deficiencias en la papeleta de voto ausente o provisional,
       según lo dispuesto por la ley estatal, la Junta Electoral estará abierta al público en cada uno de los siete
       días calendario inmediatamente posteriores al último día de votación durante el horas especificadas a
       continuación:
           o Miércoles, Abril 29 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
           o Jueves, Abril 30 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
           o Viernes, Mayo 1 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
           o Sábado, Mayo 2 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
           o Domingo, Mayo 3 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
           o Lunes, Mayo 4 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
           o Martes, Mayo 5 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

VOTO POR CORREO

      Durante los 10 días siguientes al Día de las Elecciones, la Junta Electoral puede recibir papeletas de voto
       por correo que se pueden aceptar y contar si los sobres de devolución están matasellados para el lunes
       anterior del Día de las Elecciones.

   Si usted es un elector fuera de los EE. UU. el Día de las Elecciones, debe presentar su sobre de la
       papeleta para enviarlo por correo no más tarde de las 12:01 a.m. del Día de las Elecciones y debe
       recibirse no más tarde de 10 días después de la elección.
      Las papeletas válidas enviadas durante los 10 días siguientes al Día de las Elecciones serán tabuladas
       durante el conteo oficial e incluidas en la certificación oficial final de la elección.
      El sitio web de la Junta Electoral facilitará actualizaciones por municipalidad indicando la cantidad de
       papeletas válidas de voto por correo recibidas durante los 10 días siguientes al Día de las Elecciones, así
       como el número de papeletas no devueltas.

PAPELETAS PROVISIONALES

      El sitio web de la Junta Electoral facilitará actualizaciones por municipalidad indicando la cantidad de
       papeletas provisionales emitidas durante la elección.
      Durante los 10 días siguientes al Día de las Elecciones, la Junta Electoral revisa los sobres de las
       papeletas provisionales que contienen papeletas provisionales emitidas durante la elección para
       confirmar que:

                   o   el elector está inscrito y es elegible para votar;
                   o   se ha completado la información requerida en el sobre;
                   o   el elector no emitió una Papeleta de Voto Ausente; y
                   o   el elector no emitió una papeleta el Día de las Elecciones en el distrito electoral de su
                       dirección anterior.

      El 11 de mayo de 2020, la Junta se reunirá para determinar la validez de todas las papeletas
       provisionales y revisará las papeletas provisionales que recomiende el personal de la Junta Electoral.
      Se abrirán todos los sobres provisionales de los electores y se revisarán las papeletas para asegurarse de
       que el elector emitió la papeleta en el distrito electoral correcto. Los sobres provisionales no válidos de
       los electores permanecerán sellados.
      Las papeletas provisionales válidas serán tabuladas durante el conteo oficial e incluidas en la
       certificación oficial final de la elección.

CERTIFICACIÓN DE LA ELECCIÓN

      La Junta Electoral revelará los Resultados Oficiales en su reunión de certificación el 19 de mayo de 2020.

RECUENTOS

      Los recuentos automáticos se anunciarán en la reunión de certificación del 19 de mayo de 2020 y
       también se publicarán en el sitio web de la Junta Electoral.
      Los recuentos solicitados se publicarán en el sitio web de la Junta Electoral después de haberse
       registrado.
      Si hay un recuento, se enviará notificación por correo certificado a cada persona para la cual se
       emitieron votos en la elección objeto del recuento. Para elecciones sobre asuntos o preguntas, se
       enviará notificación al presidente del grupo de electores que solicitaron el recuento y/o a la autoridad
       tributaria o solicitantes que presentaron la pregunta o asunto
      Todos los recuentos se harán de conformidad con el Capítulo 3515 del Código Revisado de Ohio y los
       Procedimientos de Recuento de la Directiva del Secretario de Estado de Ohio.

CÓMO SOLICITAR UN RECUENTO

      Las solicitudes por escrito para solicitar recuentos se pueden presentar en el Departamento de Servicios
       de Candidatos y Peticiones, ubicado en el segundo (2.o) piso del Edificio Principal de la Junta Electoral
       del Condado de Cuyahoga, ubicado en 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
      Las solicitudes por escrito deben enumerar el(los) distrito(s) electoral(es) y deben ir acompañadas de un
       depósito de $60 por cada distrito electoral en el que se vaya a realizar un recuento. Las formas
       aceptables de pago incluyen: dinero en efectivo, giro bancario, cheque de caja o un cheque certificado.
      Las solicitudes escritas no se pueden aceptar hasta después de que la elección haya sido certificada por
       la Junta.
      Las solicitudes escritas deben recibirse para el 26 de mayo de 2020 a las 4:00 p.m. y deben incluir el
       depósito correspondiente.
