The 1st April 2020 marks the 10th anniversary of the formation of TML Travel Group Limited
and we feel it is important to mark milestones, which is precisely why we want to mark
our 10th anniversary and we want ALL our clients to be part of this very important event.
Because without you, the business would not be the success it is.
To mark this milestone, we are offering a special three day Anniversary break staying at the Northampton
Marriott Hotel between Thursday 2nd - Saturday 4th April 2020. The break culminates in a special Anniversary
Gala Dinner and an exclusive concert performance by three of The D-Day Darlings, finalists in the 2018
edition of Britain’s Got Talent & Britain’s Premier Wartime Singing Troupe.
We have seen The D-Day Darlings perform at various 1940’s themed events and visitor attractions in recent
years. Since finding fame on Britain’s Got Talent, they have gone on to release a debut album, which has
sold over 60,000 copies since its launch in November 2018! This success has earned them the BRIT Certified
Breakthrough Album Award.

ITINERARY - 2ND - 4TH APRIL 2020
- From your local departure point, we journey to
near Aylesbury, where we arrive around lunchtime. The
afternoon is then yours to explore this most magnificent of houses with its
fabulous grounds, which was once home to the Rothschild Family. Late
afternoon, we say farewell to Waddesdon as we transfer you to the
, which will be your base for the next two
nights. We enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant this evening.
- This morning, following a leisurely breakfast, we journey to
, which was once home to Alan Turing and other famous
code-breakers during the Second World War. It is estimated their ground-
breaking work shortened the duration of the war by
as much as two years. Mid-afternoon, we return you
to your hotel ahead of the main highlight of this very
special tour. This evening, we keep the wartime theme as we enjoy a

- This morning following breakfast, we say goodbye to the
Northampton Marriott as we head to Loughborough, the home of the
. We enjoy a late morning return journey on the only
double track heritage railway in the country, which should evoke memo-
ries of when steam ruled the rails! Your journey includes a Ploughmans
Lunch. After lunch and on return to Loughborough, we depart for home
taking the memories of this fabulous anniversary weekend home with us
to arrive back at your original joining point late afternoon.

The D-Day Darlings are Britain’s Premier Wartime Singing Troupe. They were finalists in the
2018 edition of Britain’s Got Talent and since then they have gone on to release a debut
album - ‘I’ll Remember You’. Since its launch in November 2018, their album has sold over
60,000 copies! This success has earned them the BRIT Certified Breakthrough Album Award.
The group was formed in 2008 by founder and lead singer Katie Ashby after Katie recognised
the importance of this music and how it resonates with people like no other genre of music.
Katie says, “To see how these songs affect people and how the melody and lyrics evoke
such memories was truly eyeopening for me, and it was this that made me want to build a
career singing these timeless songs and bring back memories for so many people”
The Darlings, originally formed as a trio, became an overnight success and the group’s
popularity grew with young and old alike, so more Darlings were signed up to join the group,
creating an army of girls to continue their mission of keeping the wartime spirit alive and into
the new generation.
Katie joined forces with The Royal British Legion becoming official fundraisers for the RBL,
raising thousands of pounds each year and when Dame Vera Lynn gave her endorsement
of the group's work, The D-Day Darlings truly became the UK’s most loved sweethearts and
their popularity has grown even further. They are now also Ambassadors for The Dame Vera
Lynn Children’s Charity.
