About Us Welcome to Dryhill, a discreet 17th century Cotswold retreat perched high on the escarpment in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Feel free to visit www. dryhillweddings.co.uk for a real insight. Our accommodation has been described as Cotswold contemporary in style and all rooms are furnished to high standards. We even have a private honeymoon haven for your wedding night. Only available for a select number of events per year, Dryhill has peace and privacy with stunning views for over 40 miles. You are welcome to enjoy our 14 acres on an exclusive basis between May and September, giving you space to breathe in this idyllic Cotswold setting. You can relax in the Roman vineyard, wonder down to the private lakes for cocktail sundowners or spend lazy evenings in the Italian garden with its Valoriani wood fired oven - perfect for an arrival party! There are so many options for romantic photographs and a chance to escape for some private moments that other corporate venues simply cannot achieve. For your chosen marquee and its facilities, we have a perfectly flat, tailor made, grass area with spectacular views: perhaps the finest of any wedding location in the Cotswolds. To support you throughout your unique occasion, we provide an experienced Events Manager, Anna Byass, dedicated to helping you enjoy some magical days at Dryhill. We also include your own personal styling guru, to help with all aspects of bridal party presentation and make-up, to further enhance your stay. The Dryhill Experience Information to guide you To help you enjoy your most special event, we are offering exclusive use of Dryhill, a 17th century Cotswold House set in 14 acres for your marquee Wedding or Event. Our season is from May to September and only a small number of dates are available so that we are able to provide a more relaxed and personal experience as follows: Event Management by an experienced Event Manager • Onsite support throughout the Event planning stages • Management of ‘set up’ of the event • Management on the day of the event • Management of ‘break down’ of the event Exclusive use of the grounds throughout your stay for your Wedding or Event • 400 year old Cotswold country house • On the site of an Ancient Roman Villa and Vineyard • Stunning views of the Malvern Hills and beyond • 5 miles from Cheltenham • Blessing area • Marquee site • Valoriani Pizza oven in the courtyard garden • 2 Weber BBQ’s • 14 acres of grounds with a Trout fishing lake 3
Accommodation for 16 people for 3 nights in Dryhill House, Dryhill Cottage and Little Lodge • Dryhill House has 5 double ensuite bedrooms (Sleeps 10) • Dryhill Cottage sleeps 2 • Little Lodge sleeps 2 plus 2 • A Hot tub at the house and cottage • Vaulted Roman cellar dining room • Moroccan cellar Bar for use during your stay • Music room with baby Grand Piano • High speed Wifi • Linen, towels and essentials • Fully equipped country kitchen with Aga Bubbly Bus (for 50 or more guests) *(see notes on following page regarding parking) • A shuttle from Star College Car Park to marquee every 10 minutes • Bubbly and soft drinks provided at the parking site whilst guests wait for the shuttle 4
Additional Services Our Event Manager can provide a list of our approved suppliers: • Marquee • Catering and waiting staff for the event • The bar and any drinks or alcohol • Flowers/décor • Photographer and/or Videographer • Musicians or any other form of entertainment • Wedding Cake and Favours • Private Chef for the evening before, on the day of the wedding and the day following the wedding for catering in the house (The above are additional costs to the venue hire) 5
Notes Please note, our Approved Suppliers are those we have worked with previously and we trust them to deliver the quality on which our reputation has been built. They have been audited from a Health and Safety and Insurance perspective. We have a range of suppliers to suit your budget, our Event Manager would be happy to guide you. Please feel free to communicate directly with the supplier once you have been introduced. We request, in particular that you use our approved Caterers, Bar and where possible, marquee company from our list of suppliers. Car Parking – Dryhill is in a secluded location accessed by a single track lane with occasional marked Passing Places. Although this is a charming setting, we like to respect our neighbours, the local community and our wedding guests by managing traffic flow with sensitivity. For larger weddings, we have arranged well marked, tarmac surfaced, off-site parking in the local Star College grounds, located adjacent to our road access. Here, guests are supplied with a glass of Bubbly or a soft drink option and a frequent shuttle service to the wedding site operating at 10 minute intervals. The journey is less than 5 minutes. We supply appropriate VIP car passes to family members or disabled guests as agreed with you. Wedding Ceremony – Dryhill is the perfect place to host your Blessing. Locally there are plenty of options where a civil ceremony can be held of which we can provide recommendations. Review meeting – Prior to booking, we request a meeting with you to review the location to help clarify your needs and assess the venue. Accommodation note – * The house is let purely for the use of guests provided with accommodation at Dryhill rather than for general wedding use. 6
