The Event Wings for Wishes is a unique South Florida event combining the love of delicious chicken wings with the desire to grant children’s wishes through Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. Our 6th Annual Wings for Wishes will take place on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Our family-friendly block party approach behind Sports Grill South Miami (1559 Sunset Drive) will feature the now-famous wing eating competition and crowd-favorite chicken recipe tasting. Guests will enjoy savory food stations featuring delicious recipes from some of South Florida’s favorite restaurants, along with a wide range of refreshing beverages, and mouth watering desserts. Add in live music, popular DJ’s, family fun activities, awards, and over 1,500 enthusiastic attendees and we’ll have ourselves another sensational Wings for Wishes. Founding Sponsor & Partner
Our Purpose
Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical
illnesses. This one belief guides us in everything we do at Make-A-
Wish. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids
we serve. It compels us to be creative in exceeding the expectations
of every wish kid. It drives us to make our donated resources go as
far as possible. Most of all, it’s the founding principle of our vision
to grant the wish of every eligible child.
Gal Bensaadon and Brian Exelbert founded Wings For Wishes in
2015 in partnership with Sports Grill. Their mission is to provide a
fun and family-friendly event that raises awareness and funds to
grant wishes. To date, their efforts have helped grant 116 wishes.
